Hi Dee!
Hope you are all better now! Would love to see a pic of your DGD, think you last posted one of her about a year or so ago, with her pretty dark curls.

NanaDonna should be back from her mini-vacation today to a casino that is half-way between here (Tucson, where we live) and Phoenix. Hope she hit the Jackpot cause it's time for our "Annual All Day Shopping Trip" with her, BingoLady and me. We go armed with our most comfortable shoes, Debit Cards and coupons and hit JoAnne's, Michael's, SAAS and for the first time this year...our-new-in-town Hobby Lobby!!LOLLOL

Britishgirl – Glad you could join in this week! What a wonderful snowman and beautiful card! Your DD will surely love it.

Turtlebug - I might just have to buy a plane ticket and join the three of you on your annual shopping spree. BigGrin

Lots of wonderful creations this week! Thanks again Lisa for hosting!

whew...just under the wire. Got for my last sketch done. I will be back after dinner to catch up.

No cricut...just cuttlebug (dots). Silly me...I ran the pink border paper through the cuttlebug and then the floral paper covered it upLOL

The stamp is from a set my friend gave me...I am hoping to make a little box set of cards to give her as a thank you.

Lisa - great cards and how thoughtful to make a set for your friend.

I have posted the sketches as I am heading off to bed soon. I have an early start tomorrow!

#3 - Pretty! Like the pattern mix and the yellow and pink color combo. The white center panel with the black ink stamp is so crisp and clean. Like the little bit of embellishment on the corner, too!

THANK YOU for Hosting these past two weeks. Enjoyed working the sketches you chose for us!

Thank you ladies for all your beautiful creations.

NanaDonna: Thank you for the wonderful colors this challenge. Absolutely love the patterned paper and colors you chose for the drums...perfect. Nice touch with the "rope." Just in awe of your sketch #1...stunning. When I saw the ad colors I thought of your first card with the checked patterns. This sketch is just as beautiful. Wonderful sketch #4...gold cord is beautiful with those "ornaments."

Turtlebug: January starts our "basketball" season. Son gave it up but daughter has her last year of the league we play in so that becomes my "no time 4 me." Wonderful that you get to enjoy your grandson's soccer and congrats to him. Stunning "sweet 16" card...paper is very pretty.

Sketch #1 is beautiful and love how you did the flowers. Wonderful ad color card and love your "sequin ribbon" and the pearls. Awesome "congrats" card...love the crispnes of the black/white/silver.

Laurahunter: Of course we don't mind and would love to have you join us. Your card is gorgeous.

Gisele: Love sketch #1 with the "vintage" papers. I really like the background paper of the trees...they looked "velvety." Sketch #4 is wonderful...like the browns/reds and love how you did the ribbon. Sketch #3 is such a fun card and your nephew is sure to love it. Great job with the different embossing folders. Fantastic job with the ad colors and adorable snowman. That was one of my very first catridges and I still have never used it. Nice touch of adding the rosemary to your place cards. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

LindaBelchuk: You got it perfect and your card is beautiful with the butterflies.

BingoLady: Wonderful sketch #1 with the background paper...time to start thinking and planning the holidays (of course the stores try to get us in the mood starting in July, lol). Awesome spongebob card.

Dee: Hope you are on the mend. Adorable little girl and love that pattern paper but especially like the checked blue ribbon and the "string" on it.

Joyful Carol: Welcome back:) Fabulous minnie and love the colors...cute little heart. Beautiful butterfly. I love that stack of paper. Nice touch with the ribbon. My favorite is the cupcakes...adorable. Great idea to cut the cupcakes from patterned paper. I do the same thing...I would rather use nestibilities than wear our my mats...I find that the mats just don't hold like they used to...were so sticky at first and then you could use them for months. The last set I bought...were really sticky the first few times and then after that they just don't keep their sticky. I clean mine with wipes and dawn dishsoap but just doesn't seem to work as well anymore. I think it is a perfect "masculine" card.

britishgirl: Absolutely love your snowman.

Turtlebug: I actually was looking for the traditional red/green for my other idea but didn't find what I wanted (I only went to Michaels and our store just doesn't ever seem to have very good papers)so my second idea was the snowflakes. I was looking more for something with snow or something like that but all they had was the polka dots. I had planned on using silver for the ribbon but must have used what I thought I had. The sheer ribbon was in the 1.00 clearance at one of the stores so I bought a few...just don't remember where.
