On page 63 of Baby Steps handbook, the last set of 3 shapes for the rabbit with heart. What are those and what color do I cut them in? In case somebody wants to peek here is the handbook:

Baby Steps page 63

Thanks!

I am guessing since I don't have access to my cartridge right now to cut. but the base is a shadow (I think) then the bunny color, then Red (or whatever color you want the heart and bow) and the last I would do pink since its the nose and inside the ears. If you need me tomorrow I can cut it out and post.

They are just an extra design under the Font button. You can make them any color you'd like, or do as CowgirlUp suggested in her comment to you. Smile

It is not the nose and bow part. If you look at the handbook it is 2 long sections (ears? But the ears are already there) and one section looks like you put it in between the heart. I don't get it.

It looks to me like they would be cut in light pink and be the inside of the ears and the nose.

I pulled them up on my gypsy and that is what they look like to me

It is 2 long strips which are too big for the inside of the ear and the other shape is not the nose. I am talking about the 2nd set of shapes under Font Shadow, 2 rows down and 4 over on page 63. Thanks for your responses, this is driving me crazy.

I just put the images on different mats, so I could make them different colors, in CCR and then took a screenshot.

Blink That's the problem with the new handbooks and how they blew all of the layers way out of proportion to the main image - yes, I know people complained about the layers being too small in the old handbooks [I use a magnifier that I could lay on the page], but it was always obvious what the shapes were! [And if I can stick in another pet peeve, the old handbooks with the images in the upper & lower spots in the Creative Feature boxes were SO easy for people (here I mean my 600+ Cricut students) to understand - "think of a keyboard - to get the capital letter, you need to press the Shift button". Most of my students don't bother to go through the handbooks to catch that page about the circled right images meaning those items are cut with a Shift!
Anyway, just my $.02! Gayle
