I know I sure haven't and I am not looking forward to it either. My grandchildren are a little older now so I don't have a clue as to what to get. I think they should have a shopper service at Toys R Us that would take us by the hand and lead us to the right gift for our children and grandchildren or to the gift they put on the list.... I get lost every time I go in that store. Last year I made a craft bin for my grandaughter and it was wonderful so easy! And I made plenty of Cricut cuts for her too. Love that kind of gift.

How are you doing?

My kids are all older and send me the link for what is on their lists - I love that. I do 99% of my shopping online now. Free shipping most of the time.

I do love to make gifts using vinyl. Trying to come up with something new this year.... I have done the tumblers and glass blocks before and the floating frames.

Have you seen the SUPER cute idea for little ones to make a play kitchen? You cut vinyl to make look like a stove top and put that on the lid of a platic tote box, then fill the tote box with play food and dishes. So cute. My kids would have loved it!

I have started shopping for Christmas. I have gotten a bracelet for my daughter and the set of the little mermaid DVD's for my grand daughter so far.

I started shopping back in Aug. (I found the prefect gift for my brother and didn't wanna miss getting it for him) I'm actually pretty proud of myself because I have just 2 more people to buy for. and a couple handmade gifts to finish up. I've always been a Christmas eve shopper, Which is even worse cause my family always exchanged gifts on Christmas eve!

I have most of the gifts for my sister. I got them in September. The kids now get gift cards. I've already ordered items for a Christmas Swap. So I'm doing better with my gifts than my cards!

All gifts but one are made. I start right after christmas. I have bought a few small gifts to add to what I have made. The one that I dare not buy early is for my boyfriend. He is one of those who buys what he wants and if I buy it early I run the risk of him already buying it.

I'm usually almost done by now. This year I have only bought 2 things. I'm waiting until I can see the bf ads. I'm wanting to buy a PS3 for my son & I want to see who has the best price. I hate waiting this long. My money only stretches so far when I only have 2 months to shop!!Scared

So far I've finished shopping for my sister, nephew and my mom! I've gotten my daughter a few gifts too! Hubby and I don't get each other gifts (we used to go on trips instead, but not since our daughter was born.) so I only have a few people left to shop for.

I don't enjoy Black Friday, and think it's sad that more and more stores are actually open on Thanksgiving Day. (I feel bad for the people who have to leave their family gatherings to go to work.) I'll keep picking up gifts here and there but should be done soon.

I am impressed so many of you have many gifts done.

Hubby and I do the trip thing too we like it a lot better. And I agree no shopping on black Friday.... I work retail and wish people would just stay home and enjoy their families!

I got two gifts so far, but need to pick up two more for family. I plan to make earrings for my girlfriend's girls (four of them) and pick up a gift card for her only and one son. Then, I am done. I've never gone to Black Friday in years and am not going anywhere that day. Will stay home and avoid injuries from people shoving everyone around.

Our kids are older too. Grandkids range in ages from 10 to 22. I've got a few ideas from the parents, so all I have to do is get the stuff. We give them a few small things and some Green $tuff. The older ones want gas money, etc.

BigGrin I have started Christmas shopping. Rather some gifts I started early because I cross stitched them. They are completed. I picked up a few items that were on sale at the Hallmark store in town. Have 1/2 of my grandbaby's gift, just got to finish hers. About 5 more gifts left to purchase and I'll be able to sit back and relax this holiday season.

Not yet. I just asked my kids, ages 9 and 11, to make their list of 6 items. I pick from their list based on what I can find, reasonably priced. My hubby & dad are easy to shop for, so I don't feel any pressure to shop right now.

I usually shop year round. The boys give me a list and away I go. My guys are not bad shoppers but sometimes they need a bit of help. So when everyone is home from school, dh and I play hookey and we all go out to the city to shop. It's so much fun because we all travel in the same car and are always hiding what we bought from each other. We have low limits and we are always out to get the best deal we can. We go out and eat lunch and supper and just enjoy being together. It's not even about the gifts, the boys are away at University most of the year and so we are always looking to spend quality time with them when they are home.

For me, Christmas is my family. I just love being with them!

I'm almost done. Have bought for our three daughters, and 2 of our 3 sons-in-law, 6 of our 8 grandkids. So, 1 son-in-law, 1 husband, and 2 16 year old twin boys to go. It seems to be the men in my life that cause me "gift grief" I hate giving money, but will probably end up giving the 16 yr olds money as I couldn't even begin to guess what computer games they like, or for that matter anything that they may like. Unsure Unsure

We have become minimalists at Christmas as far as gift giving goes. Times aren't exactly easy financially for a lot of us in the family so we do no gifts for each other, just for the four grankids. Last year was the first year we started that and I think it took a lot of pressure off of a lot of people.

This year I hope we can do the same. I may make a shaped mini album for my daughter and son's girlfriend but other than that, we probably won't be buying much. Just lots of food for Christmas dinner!!

We stoped exchanging a couple of years ago and it is great. Now it is all for the little children and we love it.
