Hi!
What do you mean "keep changing"?

To make each piece a different color you can do this two ways.

1. Cut each piece on different pieces of colored paper. So look at the mat, in one 6x6 area place green paper, in another area place red paper, in another area place black paper. If using Cricut Craft Room you can lay out your cuts to coordinate with where the paper is and just press cut. If not, you guide the blade to the upper left corner of the green paper and push the button to cut the rind. Move the blade to the red paper and cut the watermelon part, move the blade to the black paper and cut the seeds.

2. Cut each piece in white and color with ink pads (I have done this sometimes to get the color match I wanted, although not very often)

Hope this helps.

Remember the size of the paper depends on the size of the cut. If you wanted a 12" piece of watermelon then one color per mat.
