Thanks for posting the pics Donna!

Like the idea of the altered wooden spoon - especially cuz it's a cardinal!

Cute Santa banner too!

The skater is a nice diecut, so elegant looking.

and that paper on the altered little wooden box sure looks pretty!

Good job kiethann!

My nephew, who is 3, just loved the banner! I had them laid out on my bed taking pics. That's why you see different items from the swap. I just realized, the M, A and S from Chirstmas is not there LOLBigGrin I did not get it in the pic.

Hello Gwen and Amy,

It's raining Christmas @ my house this afternoon! Wowie, zowie!!! Gwen, thank you for the special treats. With all you have going on you went way and beyond. I enjoyed stepping in to help out and appreciate you taking a chance on me.

Amy, what fun I've had opening all the goodies you sent. Very clever and I love the glass ornaments. Have never seen that done before. I can't stop looking at all the goodies you sent. THANK YOU!!! I will see if I can get someone to help me post pictures. So much paper, it will be hard to choose the right pages for different projects. I hope you are able to use some of the things I sent you Amy. This was a big project.

Happy Holidays All, Carol K.

I am so glad you got everything ok! I chose to send ups as it seems they are a bit more reliable this time of year than the postal service and it was maybe only a few dollars more! I am so glad you like the glass ornaments. I put all those little tiny beads on there by hand! yes very time consuming but I always love how they turn out! I really wrapped them with extra bubble wrap in hopes the heavy paper on the bottom wouldn't end up breaking them! did the trees survive or did they get smashed in shipping?Scared
as far as what you sent I love it all! I especially love your take on the reindeer directive. both my husband and myself laughed out loud when I pulled that out of the cool mailbox! my husband said he was going to put my mailbox upstairs in my craft room and if I got any mail each day he would just put it in there! I have just been so busy I haven't had the time to upload the photos! I will find some time after school gets out for the christmas break. oh and I work at uhaul as well and that is where I got the green box from. they sell red and green 12x12x12 boxes at christmas time every year. it seems like it was just thanksgiving and now here we are a little over a week until christmas. Scared
Gwynne hope you have a wonderful vacation and thanks again for another great swap!

Gwen ,
I really don't want a package please don't bother with sending it. It is really ok save yourself the effort and money of sending. so please dont send anything. The whole purpose for this was giving a person a gift in a friendly and giving manner. Not to send it late on purpose to tach me a lesson. you have made it clear how you feel about me. I feel like you Have accuse me of lies and you have ran me down several time on here and you don't even know me. I really don't want a gift from you I am fine with out one. .

And all this could have been avoided if only you would have mailed on time and/or communicated to me your issues so a solution could have been worked out with a happier ending for all.

It is very rude and very immature to try making this look like I was the meanie here. How are we suppose to get to know you to understand your life issues when you didn't timely check in, let alone never posted any other conversation about yourself!

Do you not hear yourself? Every time you post this week, you make yourself look more guilty!

If this was suppose to be a swap for giving, then you yourself should have been all excited, checking in on time, commenting on the pictures posted of what everyone was receiving, and anxious to get your own special box to your SS out in the mail to her sooner then later! You did none of this! You showed no interest, so 4 days after the DD, 30 mins. before the PO closes, I had to make a decision in the best interest of your SS.

You've posted more times since I threatened you with flaker status and offered up more info on yourself then you did the entire 3 months leading up to the DD!

Now just think about that.....

I'm strict, I said I was strict about timeliness with Christmas swaps and I stand my ground on that always.

I'm sorry this swap was ruined for you, for me and everyone else who has had to read all this drama. Learn a lesson and find swaps in the future that are more manageable for yourself so that you can mail on time.

That's the bottom line and I'm done with this issue.

I just checked DC and no update from yesterday. And it says slated for tomorrow. SO hopefully it will be on time!

Ali, you have a box at the PO waiting for you to pick up next time you make a trip into town.

and I think Candy is able to cross the border to pick up her swap box today.

Candy, I love those little phrase bubbles, and you can never have too much Prima bling!BigGrin

Kiethann, your parcel is coming...there's been more snow up north here! It was sent priority which is 2-3 business days (and believe me I paid extra for that).BigGrin

I sent a message to Donna to see if it would be all right if I posted a separate picture of the perpetual calendar I made for her. She said it would be all right. Here it is. I cut the squares from thin balsa wood, painted them with winter white and then stamped numbers or images on each one. I used the Cricut to cut out each month. Her calendar should last a life time since the tiles can be moved around. This was my very first directive I worked on, hence that is why there is October on the calendar in the picture. I also included a matching box with see-through lid for the extra numbers, images and months.

I'll take those junior mints! lol

Robin is right - you can't ever have enough prima bling! What ya gonna make with all that bling, Candy? A special mini album?

Or on your DGD's dance LOs....

And as I'm partial to red, I rather like that red snowflake on the kraft gift bag! Good idea!

Nice job Donna.

Thanks for posting the bigger up close and personal picture of the perpetual calendar Kiethann. I had no idea what that was all about until you explained it. Nice job on it too. I love how Oct. 31st is a pumpkin for the holiday. I'm assuming you did that on other months too for the holidays.

yes I did, but sadly I did not take pictures of every month. December was little green tree with red colored balls on it. I think one of the spring months was a kite, there was one with flowers for the month. November was a turkey (I think) The little treasure box was decorated with a really fancy sheet of Christmas collage items. I will try to post some other larger pics later. I do not think Donna will mind. I really wanted to post pics of the tags I made, but they are stored in a printmaster program and I do not know how to change the format. I would print them out and scan them, but need to purchase a new color ink cartridge for my printer. Hope to do that tomorrow. Reinstalled my old scanner which had some colored ink left in it and printed out the tags so all could see them.

here are more. 2 and 3 did not scan very well the first time so here they are again. Oh and to make sure Donna knew which tag was for each item in case the tags came detached , I wrote down a description on the back of the tag what the item was. I THINK SANTA NEEDS TO GIVE ME A NEW PRINTER/SCANNER FOR CHRISTMAS!!! NEITHER ONE OF MINE ARE WORKING CORRECTLY!!! The last picture was for directive 14. Thanks to the ATC swap I participated in I was able to come up with this ATC card for numbers directive. The open book on the ATC card came from a K & CO. package my daughter bought me for my birthday. It was loaded with all kinds of diecuts and embellies!

OMG!!! Have been gone all day to visit with some of my "ladies and guys" from the nursing home I worked at. Many tears of joy were shed by all of them. Anyway when I got home from my much needed outing...what to my wondering eyes should appear....GASP could it be....sitting there on the counter was a priority box from my SS Robin. I could feel much thought was put into what Robin gave me. The packages were securely tucked in with tons of bubble wrap. DH said it took me almost an hour to unwrap all of my goodies and take photos. Not only that, but Robin manged to keep the suspense going. Even though the packages were carefully labeled and wrapped with tissue paper...Robin made sure I had to unwrap each item before I could see it. She used beautiful sparkly colors of tissue paper for most of the items and then wrapped them in thinner tissue paper. It will take me quite some time to post all of the photos. I loved everything!!! I could tell Robin took the time to read my MQ while preparing all of my goodies. Not only that, she also gave me two large bags of my favorite Christmas candy and even put more in a decorated jar for me. DH and I both had to nibble on the Christmas nougat mints while I was opening the packages. Ok enough gushing. Sorry for the theatricals ladies. Here is a partial list of what she made for me. A cute mini album with lovely embellies on each page. Several Tim Holtz items. Will let you all wonder what they are until I post photos. Beautiful handmade cards, several sheets of 12 X12 cardstock (printed and solid), A stunning wall hanging for 2014. A really clever packaging for presentation of a gift card. and more. Hope to post pics a little later. Again thank you Robin.

Awe, thanks.Blushing Blushing Blushing I'm glad you liked it all. I LOVE wrapping gifts, as you can probably tell. My children are older and live in different states so I just order online, I don't really have the opportunity to wrap gifts anymore.LOL LOL

I hope I gave you some technique ideas, as you did note you like to learn techniques. The mini is a December Daily...so you have some catching up to do.BigGrin Thanks for posting pics because I forgot to take them.Cool

Ok, I couldn't wait to print out the photos, so I scanned items which would fit on my scanner. AND HERE THEY ARE! Picture 1 directive 1, Picture 2 Directive 5, Pictures 3 and 4 directive 7, Picture 5 Directive 12, Picture 6 directive 13, picture 7 directive 16, Pictures 8 and 9 directive 17, and the last picture directive number 18. Also need to mention I overlooked something on Directive 19 mea culpa....up on the top of the wall hanging is a small clip holding a calendar. Too CUTE!!! Oh and SORRY LADIES NO DIBBS!!!
