Anyone interested in an easy and quick ATC swap?
The theme for this one will beVALENTINES
Basic rules are as follows:
You can only use shades of red, white or beige. Your ATC must have some dimension and/or layers. Other than that, anything goes. Use your imagination and create something cool looking. Step out of your comfort zone!!!!!!

ATCs are 2 ½” X 3 ½” mini works of art that you decorate as you would a card. PLEASE, PLEASE use at least 2 layers of cardstock for your base to ensure the sturdiness of the ATC. Do your best work and make sure everything is trimmed and glued well.

We will be doing 12 ATCs so it is first come, first serve. Please send ALL 12 to me. I will sort and return within a few days of receiving all the ATC’s
Due Date is Saturday February 8th. This gives you 5 weeks to get them finished and to me.

This is the last day for me to receive your ATCs, not a last mailing date. I will be strict with this. If life happens and you need to drop out, please let me know as soon as possible. Pm me for my address anytime if you don’t all ready have it.

IMPORTANT—Please subscribe to the thread and check in every couple of weeks. If I don’t hear from you, I will send you 2 reminders via email if I have it. Please realize that I am not trying to be pushy but want to make sure you are still in. As in all my swaps, I have the right to refuse anyone if I think it will jeopardize the swap. This may seem harsh but part of my duty as hostess is to take care of my swappers and make sure they get what they signed up for. This eliminates stress for all of us. If you have any questions, fell free to ask.
I will not take late senders or flakers!!!!!

Make sure you sign the backs of your ATCs. Most artists include a title, their MB name, date and number of card if it is part of a series (e.g., 1 of 12). Package each group in a separate baggie labeled with the group number and your MB name to facilitate the sorting. Please remember to add a return envelope along with postage. If you want me to re-use your same packaging, just send a return label and the postage.

yes, all 12 would be the same. If you only have 11 of a certain embellishment, it is okay to use something else in it's place. I don't want anyone to have to go out and buy 12 of everything. Your design MUST be the same on all 12.

Let me know if you want in or notBigGrin

I have the rest of you signed up. Thanks

Jean,
Do we just cut our cardstock down to that size or is this a die?
Thanks,
Jeanene

If not a die I would also like to participate!

No die!!!! You can buy ATC papers all ready cut to size but I just use my own cardstock. Here is a link that shows you how to get 10 ATC out of 1 sheet of 8 1/2 X 11 piece of cardstock.

http://gomakesomething.com/ht/atcs/10-atcs/

For those of you doing ATCs for the first time, here is something I do. If I am making 12 ATCs, I cut 24 pieces of cardstock to ATC size. On one of them I put all my info(1 of 12, theme, date, etc.) The other one is the one that I decorate. Once I am done with my ATC, then I glue the 2 pieces together. I do this so that if I want to add a brad, a ribbon or other embellies, they won't show thru on the back side. Kind of like making a card front.
By using at least 2 layers, it makes for a sturdier ATC.

I will add you all in. Thanks for joining. BEWARE these are very addicting!!!!!!

I know I have swapped with all of you before but please just remember to checkin every week or 2. I do not want to have to babysitBigGrin

Jeri(bklynborn) signed up via email as she is having troubles logging in so we are full!!!

One thing I posted wrong was about keeping your own ATC.
Please send ALL 12 to me. It makes it easier when I sort. When I do my final count everyone should have 12 and not some with 11.

Thanks everyone and happy scrappin!!!!!!

Google "Valentine Artist Trading Cards" and click images. You will be amazed at what some people come up with. You may get some inspiration.
