Aw, thanks for thinking of me Lisa; I miss you guys too! I'm still not finished but making good progress. I finally got all my die cuts organized and into Crop In Style binders that I used to have stickers in. My Inventory binders are all up to date for inks and dies. I moved the bar thing into the little room and put the desk in my scrap room so now I have a designated place for stamping and card making when I opt not to stand! I also got my blog back up so you guys should all follow me (only have 3 so far Sad) because I'll be doing blog candy pretty soon!

So I caved, just a little, and signed up for Jean & Gwynne's SS Christmas Swap. I like SS swaps; it's fun to be sneaky! LOL I was waiting for Jean's Christmas ATC swap but I PROMISED myself ONLY ONE AT A TIME until I get things squared away here. Can't wait to see who my partner will be BUT I'm being good.. no tapping yet!

I'm off to a good start on the house all I have left for the upstairs bathroom is the new non-slip thingies for the tub and one cabinet clean-out. OMG my mom had stuff in these closets from DECADES ago; she doesn't throw anything away. No more procrastinating; I have to go through EVERYTHING now because the "Alzheimer's monster" as I refer to times when the disease is calling the shots instead of her, is a very curious beast and can get into a lot of mischief!

Been chatting online w/ DD in Afghanistan for the last hour or so but she's thinking about bed and I need to get to the pool store (I can't wait until it's closed for the season)

HAPPY HUMP DAY everyone!!

Signed up for Tim Holtz's CC102 class and I'm getting excited! I took CC101 last year and I didn't know anyone else who took it; this year it seems like everyone is! It's gonna be a party over there. I really enjoyed the wealth of information in the first one since his products were pretty new to me at the time and I didn't have his books yet. If you're new to his products and styles you should check it out!

Have a crafty weekend ladies!

Anyone frozen yet?!? Holy cow this weather is just bizarre! We were in the low to mid 50s Monday morning - snowing Monday night and back to subzero today... I hope all of you in the Midwest are tolerating it okay; it's unseasonably cold everywhere but you guys are getting the worst of it. I heard on the radio today that the temperature reading in Chicago was lower than the reading from the South Pole at the same time!!

Found out grandbaby is not twins as I had hoped but it is a boy as I had thought. I don't know why I thought that, it was just a gut feeling :)

Mom's still doing well physically even though the Alzheimer's is complicating Life every chance it gets. I'm starting Project Life with her to try to help her hold onto things in a simpler way. Whether or not it works/helps remains to be seen but I know she'll like putting her album together with NO RULES LOL (She HATES rules..)

More good news on the horizon but too soon to share!

Stay warm and safe everyone!

Thanks for all the happy thoughts! She hasn't returned to the east coast yet, but I have 95% of her gear here that she shipped home, so I'll be seeing her at some point! Just having her back where nobody is shooting at them is fine by me LOL

The weather been practically balmy for the past week but winter's on its way back now..Boooooo! It looks like Spring out there with just a few melting snow piles left behind by the plow; I'm so bummed that it's not real.

Haven't been doing hardly any crafting lately Crying but hopefully my brother's taking Mom this weekend so I can get some craft therapy in (fingers crossed)even though what I should be doing is cleaning/purging! LOL LOL

Time to do errands, I hope everyone is doing well and tolerating the cold okay! Until next time...

Well the child has been back two weeks and has been a busy little bee. She found a new apt (w/in walking distance to a hospital so when she finishes her RN degree by next summer ('15) she's hoping she'll get hired there). She went to a credit counselor and cleaned up all the stuff she didn't want on her credit report so she's only rebuilding it from now on. She got everything needed to the two schools she applied to before deadlines, moved all her stuff out of storage, got all her car/bike ins & reg reactivated, set up her new place, started catching up w/ friends (and their babies born while she was away!) and is putting together a craft room for herself (that's my girl Laugh )Basically lining up all her little ducks so come Summer she can make up for a lot of missed miles on her bike, help her Dad get his place ready to sell, and be ready to hit the ground running when school starts up in September. One day at a time but so far so good..

The boy and his bride are sleeping on air mattresses this weekend since the movers packed up their place today. For some reason he can't actually leave the base until Monday but then the two and a half of them and their 2 furbabies will be commencing their 3700 mile trek back east!! (Haha they're moving from Washington(state) to Washington(DC)) Anyone who lives between Massachusetts and DC - you never know I might land on your doorstep on one of my trips down or back from visiting them. I have your addresses... LOL LOL

Pretty quiet in Swapping Land I see; where'd everybody go? Maybe it's just a sleepy/busy time of year. I'm still not overextending myself but I'm lurking. Hope all is well in everyone's world and it starts warming up soon. I know I'm tired of being cold!

Great news about both your kids!!!!! To have them away from the gunfire is a big plus!!!!!

Yes, you are missed on the MB. Maybe you'd like to try an ATC come late March. Look for itBigGrin

Anytime you are in my area, let me know. I am right off RT 95 on the CT line so it would be easy to meet up. You have to go right by here on your way to DCBigGrin
