They seem so mysterious to me.

I don't like it; I sure hope they are coming out with something really fantastic after all this hubbub!!! (Hubbub meaning all the sales they've had up to and past Christmas)!

AM I THE ONLY ONE CURIOUS?

I'm not curious..any excuse for them to have a sale is good for the ppl buying carts at great prices. Sounds like to me if they are moving to a new facility they want to get rid of as much as they can so they have less to move. That said my order was shipped today, yay.

Is the 40% sale still on! I agree... Maybe they just want to have less to move.

Char,

I'm very curious! The past few months they have been unloading inventory like crazy. It looks like there are no more refurb Expressions, rock bottom prices on the Cricut Mini, super sale prices on the E and E2 bundles, close out prices on old carts, and finally they were practically giving away the Expression with the Walmart and Joann Black Friday sales.

Now they are moving their warehouse. It sounds like they are seriously down sizing!

It might be because they are indeed coming out with a new line of machines and for the most part are going to try to move more towards digital carts. Could be they don't want to be saddled with old machines and old cartridges. If they were liquidating their inventory because they were ready to go bankrupt they probably wouldn't be looking for a new warehouse.

So I am inclined to think they are setting the stage for the company to move forward with new products. Maybe new machines will be drop shipped from the manufacturer?? And digital carts don't take up shelf space anywhere but cyberspace.

They are not attending CHA so it doesn't sound like a grand unveiling of a new machine in the immediate future, but I am holding on to the hope that they intend to be serious competitors in the crafting industry.

I hope they come forth with something soon though. I was reading a thread on Splitcoaststampers and everyone that posted was advising NOT to buy Cricut machines!!! That's a whole lot of bad PR. I think ProvoCraft would be wise to drop a few hints and build some anticipation to keep new prospective buyers interested. Just my opinion.

I bought one of the sale E's. It is really "junk" in comparison to my older one. It is so noise and is basically plastic in comparison to the metal parts on the older machines. It cuts great, put you can tell the difference.

I had the E2 but never opened it and took it back for the E. Now, I am second guessing myself. I do think though if they made this machine cheaper, the E2 would probably be the same.

The word was a new machine was coming out at the beginning of the year. They missed CHA so how are they going to bring out the new machine? Makes me wonder if it was just 'bull' and the selling off all the old stock is just the end result??? Who knows?????

I have been thinking of getting a back up machine. I have the personal and the Expression. I have heard stories about them coming out with a new machine and have been waiting to see. I spoke to cs rep. a few weeks ago and I asked her about a new machine. She said she wasn't aware of that. So I don't know. I hate to hear the machines are being cheaply made. Makes me reluctant now.
