Is there a way in which you can tell what cartridges you have linked to your gypsy?

There's two ways...

1. On the Gypsy go to the design screen and click the keypad in the bottom right corner.
Then click on the name of whichever cart is showing at the bottom.
Click on the arrow next to the Show: box and select Linked Cartridges.

2. Log in to your cricut.com account.
Click on Linked Cartridges
Any that you linked to your Gypsy will show as LinkedGypsy in the Type column.

Thank you so much. I have been away so long its like starting over. I did it on the cricut, but when you say log into your cricut account do you mean just log into cricut.com? Cause when I do I end up here and cant find anywhere to find linked cartridges. If anyone has an answer please let me know. Thanks to everyone who has helped me the past week or so get back into the swing of things. I really do appreciate it.

Go up to the top and click on your name by the Sign Out button. That will take you to your cricut.com account. Then click on Linked carts.

Are you still using the same email you used for your cricut.com account when you linked the carts?

Mine aren't showing under linked cartridges either and my Gypsy is dead so I can't check there. I wonder if this list only includes the carts linked to CCR via the Gypsy. Mine died before I could do that.

You are right. If the Gypsy hasn't been linked to the owner's account through gypsy link, they won't show in her account. Hopefully PC can help her {and you}.

Called the company just a little bit ago. I was told that they dont list the linked cartridges, that the cartridges that are listed are the ones that have been registered. So if you havent registered your cartridges they will only show linked in your gypsy.

Maybe someone here can help me!
I am doing a blog candy Gypsy giveaway and I have about 60 carts linked to it. I've been told that whom ever gets it, can use the carts on the Gypsy if it's linked to a Cricut machine. I do know they can not use them CCR because they are linked to my account, but I do need to be certain that they can indeed use them, if connected to the Cricut machines.

I never really used my Gypsy, so I really don't know much about it, so anyone's help on this would be appreciated.

I really think you need to call PC about this.... The problem is you aren't supposed to give away or sell a Gypsy that has cartridges linked to it if you don't also give away/sell the physical cartridges with it. To do so infringes copyright of the images on the cartridges and is against the EULA that you agreed to when you linked the carts to your Gyspy.

(I'm sure there'll be people who'll jump in here with a rant about their views on this subject.... All I'm doing is giving the facts - not saying whether people should do it or not....)

I realise you are doing this because you don't use the Gypsy. It's possible PC might be able to wipe the carts off the Gyspy so you'd be giving away something that someone could then link their own carts to.... but without calling PC you won't know.

It's a contentious issue that's for sure! Cool

Narelle, thanks for the advice...

Spoke to PC...I can reset the Gypsy and clear the carts that I have linked to it...so basically you will be getting a brand new Gyspsy to link your own cartridges to it and CCR!
