Hello all, my brother arrived from California so I am trying to sneak in this post while I have a minute.
Got my final sketch done sketch #1. Sorry no Cricut but there is some Cuttlebug.
It is also my extra credit wedding card in white with one other color. I think it came out real pretty.
The background I embossed using my MS score board at 1/2 intervals at an angle. The other two embossing areas are Cuttlebug border folders. TFL

My Sketch Card #4 in Ad Colors:

Pink Striped and Egg Border Papers - "All Seasons" stack by Recollections
Bunny - Animal Kingdom cartridge
Embossing - "Swiss Dots" and "Chicken Wire" Cuttlebug folders
Easter Basket /w Eggs - DoodleCharms cartridge
Glitter Eggs - Foam Stick-ons
Scalloped Circle - Lacy Labels cartridge
Colored the Bunny with color pencils and added orange ribbon and bow. Barely noticeable, but the pink & white Easter eggs says "Happy Easter".

Donna, so pretty, like the paper and the colors. And the way the flowers
match the ones on the paper.

Turtlebug, very nice , like the border punch you used. And the little flowers
you made.

Kiethann, nice # 2 the little BF is so cute. Is the BF a sticker.

Gisele, wow, you are getting ready for Xmas. Like the stamp with the snowmen.
and the way you colored and added the little beads on them.

BingoLady, the butterfly is a bling butterfly my sister had in her butterfly embellie collection. I have no idea where she bought it or makes it, she throws away all of the outer packaging which contains the information. SIGH. Usually she is unable to remember where she did buy the embellie. double sigh.

THank you. I really like your card. I can see the Happy Easter on the pink and white egg. Like how you used the chicken wire embossing folder for the background embossing. Great use of the add colors.

Ladies, if I missed commenting about any of your cards, I am sorry. Everyone has been posting some outstanding interpretations of the sketches. Great work all.

#1 and Ad Colors - Very nice! Love the gold Butterfly and the colorful floral paper. Nice you had a printed paper with the orange and pink in it. You pretty much had the sketch from memory right on!

NanaDonna
#1 and Ex. Credit - Beautiful!! Love all the pretty embossing, nice grid using your MS score board. The blue color is so pretty and the dainty sheer bow adds a nice touch. LOVE IT!

Need a Host for the weeks of Feb. 26th to March 11th....
any takers????

Have my #1 and #4 ready to post, just have to take a pic, be back in a bit!Smile

My Sketch Card #3 in the Extra Credit:

Embossing - Cuttlebug "Devine Swirls" folder
Eternity Chipboard Sticker & Cardstock papers - DCWV "Elegant Wedding" stack
Circle - ARTISTE cartridge
Corners - Fiskar Corner Punch
I made the floral bouquet and added a sheer white bow. The bottom sheer black ribbon has a wider sheer white ribbon under it, which isn't very visable in the picture. At the top I used a very narrow black satin ribbon, and added pearls.

My Sketch Card #1

Paper - Michael's Single Sheet Rack
Fiskar Birds Punch - Just bought this week to go with the other punches for my Fiskar Interchanagle Punch tool my DD gave me for Christmas.
Sentiment - GIVE a HOOT cartridge
Flower and Dots - Are very old acrylic stick-ons...so old I had to add glue to make them stick to the paper!
Added sheer organza ribbon.
TFL!!

Turtlebug, wow two wonderful cards. The wedding card like the little bouquet
and the pearls you added. And of course the embossing. Like the paper you used
for the Easter card. I've never seen that paper, I like it. With the bunnies and the
Egg nests on it. Oops, there not bunnies, they are birdies.Blushing

#3 & Ad Colors - WOW!! Love this card, it is so Springtime. The colors and flowers are so cheerful and the purple flower is very pretty. Makes for a very uplifting Get Well card!

No I did not cut it out by hand the whole crocodile is on the square piece. I cut the entire square piece out of a larger piece of paper hope that makes sense.

Donna,

#1 - The burlap border is actually a roll of 3/4" ribbon I bought at Michael's, not one I cut from burlap. Plus, there was a time I couldn't find burlap (other than to cut some out from 36" wide fabric from the fabric store)and now I see flowers of all sizes (like the ones on my #2 card), squares, circles, banners, spools of all sizes...you name it made out of burlap. Needless to say, expect a few 'Burlap themed" cards from me!!Laugh

#2 - Thanks for the correction, my mistake was sure to have confused everyone!LOL I have corrected it. OH, and #1 is my "Feathered Friends" sketch card. My "MOM" card is #2 sketch. BOY, are we both confused now or what?!!!!LOL LOL LOL LOL

#3 - I LOVE this punch...one base for all the interchangeable cartidges. Just snap them in and out and punch away. Punches are only about $3.99. AND, they are great space savers, too!!ThumpUp

Hi ladies...

Sorry missing in action this challenge...picked up an eye infection somehow and it has been miserable.

Hopefully after bball today I can get some time. Playoffs start over the next 2 weeks and that could be brutal...possibly could play 3 games in 1 day. I need to get a couple coaches cards done. I will host this next time unless somebody else has volunteered.

LisaW you have been missed, so sorry to hear about your eye infection but glad it is getting better.
Sounds like a busy busy time you have coming up but how fun the watch all the baseball games. I used to love watching my grandsons play baseball many many years ago. They are all grown up now.

If you can fit in hosting the next time around that would be great. If it seems like it would be too much for you with the ball games going on let us know.

Hope you get in your craft room later and get some of those coach's cards made

Hi Ladies,
Just here enjoying the great 80 degree weather here in Tucson. If you are able to get the broadcast of the Annual Accenture Golf Tournament being held in Tucson these past two weeks, you will be able to see the beautiful weather we are having. This is a pretty big tournament which draws some pretty big names here to Tucson. AND, the tournament is held just up the road behind NanaDonna's house. Some of the mountains you see in the background are the same ones we see out of her kitchen window. So pretty!!

Hi Lisa,
Thanks so much for Hosting the next two weeks. Hope you had extra time to finish BingoLady's sketches and that your dear daughter did good in her Basketball playoffs and that she advanced to the next level. You sound like me with my DGS's Soccer games and tournaments, that is why I like to get my sketches done ASAP and have my weekends free to attend his games. Good Luck to her!!ThumpUp Looking forward to your sketches on WednesdaySmile

Thanks so much for Hosting this last challenge and for your nice handdrawn sketches. Wasn't sure which direction my #3 sketch was going to go when I first saw it, but it turned out to be my favorite and I love the way my #3 card turned out. Thanks again!

sorry ladies...I am on an IOU this week. DD bball coach asked me to make a team poster and of course I said yes...just slap me now. I better get a move on it. I will have to come back on Thursday to catch up...daughter has ortho after school tomorrow and then on to practice.

Did manage to get one sketch done...sketch #2

I made 2 bball cards from new sketches (post in a little bit) and just wasn't sure about them so made another one. If I can find my bball brad I will add one in the bottom corner after the thank you.

Card #2 - Very nice card for your DD's Coach, like the cut with the whistle. The Basketball paper is perfect and the message very thoughtful. A basketball brad would add the perfect finish to this card.
Again, thanks for Hosting the next challenge!Smile

I haven't been over here for quite a while; sorry, but there just isn't time for everything. I enjoy being on the two MBs and by the time I do that....just don't want to come on over here. I'm know I've missed LOTS of good stuff. Especially during the holidays. Just seems like there's never enough time in the days to do it all.

All your cards here are just adorable; love all the various sketches and LOVE, LOVE, Love all the color!
