After days of frustration and the help of my husband I was able to get cricut craft room up and running right only to find out I have to send my gypsy for repairs so I will be able to link my cartridges to the craft room. Today I go in just to make sure everything is ok and everytime I try to open it, the message box wanting to know if I want this program (driver updater exe.)to make changes to my computer. when I click yes it takes forever for it to come up. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I did install adobe flash 12.0 cause I needed it to view things. Could that be the problem?

I have never had to do anything with Adobe for the CCR. Try to call CS tomorrow & let them help you.

My old laptop started doing that to me a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure it's a Windows Firewall thing that's causing it, even though I have Windows Firewall disabled.

I made sure ccrbridge.exe and cricut-craftroom.exe were added as exceptions to my anti-virus...

I even changed the security settings to low to see if that would stop the pop up but it didn't.

I've even tried running it in Administrator mode, but no change.

It doesn't happen on my new computer, so I'm not sure what is going on. I'll be sending the laptop in for repairs and a good clean out soon so will be interested to see if it's still doing it when I get it back.
