Cricut Nat and Friends,

My apologies for not responding earlier and this is just an update. I received my great deep "green" Easter basket from Nat. before it was even due. However as I was late mailing hers I only opened the box but not the basket. Oh, what joy!!! You should all have Cricut Nat for a partner sometime, although I would hate to share her. She fulfilled so many of my dream craft items! I am on limited time right now and will try to have my son help me with pics and post details. Sounds like everyone had a blessed Easter, me too. My brother is still with me and doing better each day. Enjoy your "spring" and I will chat with you soon.

Many Hugs, Carol K.

Carol - If you would like, I can post pictures of your goodies - I did take them (only because I wanted to keep a visual of some of the fun things I explored with your basket as well as for insurance purposes as well...) I would be happy to do that for you if you can't get them up yourself...I've finally got the uploading thing down pretty well!

I wanted to share with all two pictures of Kim's Easter basket I sent her. She was unable to take pictures of the wrapped basket and one of all of the goodies in the basket unwrapped. My "bag" did not weather the trip very well. I found some really cute Easter treat bags and used them to hold some of Kim's goodies. So here are the two pictures I took.

If you enlarge the pictures, you can see our daughter's painting ( she was in fifth grade at the time) she did of our house when we first moved into it. The painting is behind the basket on the wall.

Cricut Nat and Barbara, Thank you both so much for being soooo understanding. Nat if you really don't mind posting pictures of the great basket you sent me I would really appreciate it. I will PM you tomorrow about some of the items in your basket. The ceramic bird is to hold your stick pins. Nite-Tea-Nite All, Carol K.

I got my basket on Thursday!!!!

Love Wow, just wow.Love ScrapyPiggy.... thank you so much for the beautiful basket and all the goodies inside!!!!!

I attached pictures...

My basket was full of all sorts of goodies and beauties.

A gorgeous butterfly embellished apron and linens. (I must say that butterflies are one of my favorites and if it weren't for the husband, I'd have butterflies all throughout the house.... we compromised on birds. So THANK YOU ScrapyPiggy for the butterflies, since they were a gift, the DH can't say squat about them!!) Flapper

Tons of sweets and treats that I'll be hiding in my stashes at home and in my classroom. LOL

A beautiful butterfly covered box with all sorts of goodies inside.

Beautiful, spring colored "thinking of you" cards that will come in handy!

All sorts of goodies like adhesives, embossing folders, twine, washi tape, embellishments, some vinyl (which I have yet to buy myself, THANK YOU!), Giant Flowers cartridge (can't wait to play with that one), a new spatula and scraper, etc.

Love Love And my all time favorite item that will never be used but will instead be put on display is my watering can full of beautiful stickpins!!! Oh my.... you should've seen my face as I looked at these. You would've thought they were made of diamonds and precious gems. I was in complete awe of them. ScrapyPiggy, I can only assume you are a pro at these and have been making them for a very long time. As a complete (and probably obvious) newbie to stickpins, I cannot thank you enough for these gorgeous ones.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SCRAPYPIGGY for my amazing basket.

Oh, and NO DIBBS.... especially on the stickpins! Drool

Wow ! Those are some really beautiful baskets ladies ! Thank you for posting the pictures...

For those who dont know how to put the pix on the posting directly, the problem is that your pictures are too big...you just have to "shrink " them by doind a RIGHT CLICK on the picture, then select "EDIT", and it takes you to your WIndowsPaint or Photo shop. THere you will find the choices to "RESIZE" your pictures, simply by clicking on "pixels" and reducing it to 900 pixels or less, it will show in the posting and then we do not have to click on each individual file to see the pictures and wait for them to download.

I learned how to do it - so you can too ! it is not hard... and makes things easier for your swapping friends. BigGrin Love

Ugh - the site is killing me when I posted pics of the Easter Basket I got from Carol, it said that jpeg was not an acceptable file - I re-saved to another extenstion, then it was okay. I shrunk the pics I had of Carol's basket goodies to the smallest size possible and it still did this to me! I'll have to re-try!

CricutNat

Got it! These are the pictures I took of the handmade (mostly) items for Carol - altered tin for holding the yummy Easter Candy Hersehy Eggs, an altered chipboard box, a set of handmade Easter Coasters, a hand towel (not embelleshed) stick pins - purple and Easter, her Cricut Green basket and I didn't take pics of the bling, fibers, and other embellishments I sent!

Dear Cricut Nat,

Thanks so much for posting pictures of the luscious gifts you made and packed in my pretty, deep, green Easter basket. This was such a fun swap. I know I will use everything that was in my basket. I'm going to put little name tags of your girls on the little faces in my tin. I also love the paper you used on the coasters and to make a box for the great stick pins. The cards you made are also delightful and I will be putting the them to use right a way. When you had time to make all the gifts with 2 active young ladies and a baby @ home is beyond me. I'm so glad you did.

Hugs, Carol K

PS: My brother is doing great and went home Friday. Thanks again for all your prayers and good thoughts!
