I have 94 regular card ones, 27 border or edge folders, and 45 of the smaller ones. Every time DH and I made our shopping trip to Michaels or Hobby Lobby, I would use my coupon on an embossing folder. Have used nearly all of them except the last 5 purchases.

So will you tell us how your system is set up. thanks

Oh and I am drooling over your scrapbox. I have dreamed of owning one for well over 5 years. Thought maybe this year I would be able to finally purchase one, but unfortunately....life got in the way.

I have my folders numbered with a round sticker on the front top left corner. They are in a craft tub standing on end. I then made a sample book, used a photo album I got at thrift shop and on 4x6 index cards I embossed a sample of each folder. Put them in the book, I can look thru it and it really inspires me to use ones that would otherwise just be sitting in the craft tub.
I did not even count my border, 3x2's or other sizzix embossing folders. Gheesh I have those in one of those over the door pocket thingys with all the pockets, sorted by category.

I found my Scrapbox on Craigslist......several years ago. I love it and highly recommend them.

I have about approximately 28 (at least those are the ones that I can remember off the top of my head). I just bought 10 more (mostly halloween themed) in the clearance sale yesterday (included in that 28 count). Ah I like so many of the folders out there :)

Hi!
I have at least 100 folders, I added a few and didn't count them.

Anyway, I keep them in a drawer, I used From My Kitchen to make Index Dividers (like in a recipe box) and labeled each divider by a category, Asian, Christmas, Floral, etc...

Then I cut tags and embossed each tag with a folder. The tags are labeled like the drawer dividers and I attached them to those big binder rings. I have so many I have 2 rings of folders. Shhh. Don't tell DH

Then I can put the tag on the project to see of the design goes with the cards pieces. I just used scrap paper so there is a lot of randomness to the colors, and the tags are about 4" so they're big enough to see enough of the pattern.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the organization tips!!!!! Great ideas.

I have my acrylic stamps done in a similar way and it certainly helps find them easily enough. I actually forgot I had some of themBigGrin

Does anyone else have too much crafting stuff that they forget what they do have?

OK...I just counted mine and came up with 59 regular-type folders. Those are made by different companies and does not include borders or the older, smaller ones from when the Cuttlebug first came out.

Can't believe how many all of you have, course I haven't been doing this all that long. I made file folders with the envelope punch board, embossed a piece of cardstock and name on folder. I store in a drawer on one of my craft carts. Hugs Patti
