hi all .
I have an old baby bug and the expression but am wanting to get a e2 and am wondering if you can use it when it is not connected to the computer system I mainly am after one for the pre loaded carts on it mainly for the cricut decals one I love the little outline people and had been trying to get hold of it on a cartridge but it was put on to the e2 so that is my next step . the other question is if I buy one second hand how do you then connect it to your computer if it was connected to someone else's or does that not matter don't want to buy one and then have problems as not a computer geek at all . thanks girls

I have all the cricut machines. Each one I use either with or with the computer. To use with computer all you have to do is plug in a usb printer plug to the back of the machine and then to your cricut. I only use the computer when I am using craft room. All the preloaded images that come on the E2 are installed from the factory, so they are not linked to just one cricut machine. They will always be on their. Available to use with or without the computer. If you use craft room, then those will be linked to craft room only.

I think the OP wanted Cricut Decals, which is pre-loaded on the E2. Car Decals is a different cart. But, very similar.

thanks girls for looking out for me it is the cricut decals one I am after I have the car one thanks . its just those darn cute girl scout and scout that would be brilliant to do on some t-shirts for my brownies and sons scout group for camps as at least when they go out for the day they will all look the same without having to wear proper shirts and it does not cost the earth to have someone to print them all .

I have not seen Cricut Decals on my E2 machine. The only carts pre-loaded are Cricut Alphabet and Cricut Essentials.

I have the anniversary edition Expression 2 and love Cricut decals just cut the cricut image with cricut on board to put on the back of my car, did it in green of course. It is so cute. I just bought my Expression 2 Anniversary Edition found a brand new in box one on craigslist We are camper travelers so don't want to be hooked up but love taking my cricut along.
I love my cricut Expression but have not used it since I got the Expression 2. It is sad :(
