Is anyone else having problems in DS tonight? This is actually the first time Ive had any real problems with DS. Needed to finish my mothers day card to be in the mail monday. DS was lagging really bad tonight(for me) and i had a hard time using the attach button. Then I got a message about a plugin not responding. I was a little frustrated but kept with it till I finally got the card finished. A simple mistake took forever to correct...but its done.

Question 2...does anyone know if cricut is going to make their fine point pens in more colors? Im finding that the fine point pens are the only ones (in my opinion) that are worth using to write a sentiment inside a card. I find the other pens to be too broad. They are fine for bigger projects but for writing inside a card the letters seem too bunched. I would love to see more fine point colors. What about you?

I like using the precision fine point pens(American Crafts). I purchased the ones I have from Tuesday Morning. I also like the Recollections "Signature Especial" Photo Markers Set I got from Michaels. There are 18 different colors(from the back of the box...markers that are perfect for slick and non-slick surfaces...try on photos, plastic, wood, glass, ceramics, fabric and more...permanent, quick drying ink, acid-free). Several people have given a list of pens they have used here on the board.

Some of the writing styles are "bunching up" the letters. What I have done is use the option of putting more spacing between letters.

Do you mean are the pens for the Explore only? If so, yes. The Explore has a dual head, blade in one, pen in the other. The blade housing unit for the older model Cricuts won't hold a pen.
