That is it exactly Dee...So much paper and I could not find a single piece I liked to get my Mother's Day card done, the one card I needed to get done. Even my daughter pulled out different papers trying to "inspire" me...nothing worked. Told her for mother's day I would like her to get me some packs of paper, lol.

Dee: Thank you so much for hosting this week. Sorry I didn't get to play. Your sketches were great. Colors were awesome too. Adorable "purrfect: card. Do you buy your digi stamps? I want to try my hand at coloring but too chicken yet. Wonderful card using the ad colors. Gorgeous "Christmas" card...not your traditional colors but very pretty. Great job on #4 with the ad colors.

BingoLady: Love your USA card and it fit the sketch perfectly. Great job on sketch 1 and extra credit. Love how you added feathers. Very pretty sketch #2 and love the way you added the buttons on there. Beautiful sketch #4...like the colors of the stripes. Nice idea with the punching.

Sunnieday: Georgeous christening card and a beautiful name...congrats to you.

Sarah: Thanks for joining us and your card is beautiful in the red/blue/white. Glad you are enjoying your "explore."

Keithann: Glad your keeping us updated...good luck in your training. So glad you were able to get a card done and what a wonderful job you did with all the embellishments.

Turtlebug: Wow...lots of embellishments on your "western card"....love it. Very nice sketch #3 and so peaceful with that picture. I am going to start saving my calenders:). I love both of your sketch 4. What are the little "pointy" things on the sides of your sentiment? soccer card is fantastic and love the "net."

NanaDonna: Glad your trip was a success. Your elephant card is just sooooo cute and love all that glitter. There is nothing "girlie" about my daughter but she always wants glitter stuff. The buttons are adorable and fit perfectly. Sketch #1 is wonderful with the ad colors....love the coordinating papers. Great baseball card with the coordiatig papers. Wonderful sketch #4...great idea using the logo. Very nice sketch #3...I love that set of papers.

ValerieSchombirg: I absolutely love your sketch #1 with the red, white, blue. I too worry about the bling...especially if I have to mail it. Sketch #3 is very pretty.

Sorry I cut my comments short...gotta get myself to bed as 4 a.m. comes awful early.

Hi Lisa,
The cut is from Ornamental Iron and I was trying to make a "window" with a "wrought iron" look. The "pointy" things I was going to use them as the finials of a "wrought iron curtain rod" but it looked odd when I put them on the lace (which I had already glued to the card). So, I decided to use them on the sentiment ends.
Thanks for asking!Smile

Dee,
Thanks so much for Hosting and for such a nice and fun set of sketches, I enjoyed the assortment of cuts and really enjoyed using them to create my cards.
Always love working with red, white and blue colors when making my cards, thanks for the Ad Color Challenge you provided us with, too.
