I got my cricut explore a couple of weeks ago and got so excited that I subscribed to Adobe CC, and learned to use Illustrator to create my own SVG files and import them to the Cricut Design Space online App. So far I've managed to successfully upload and cut some of them. I'll be posting them as I make them.
Please, feel free to download them, share the link, comment and enjoy, because like Honeybadger... I don't care if you do!

Great post and great to see someone posting on how to use the full toolchain to move from a graphics file to a cut and constructed image.

I got my cricut explorer about 2 and a half weeks ago and I am now using Inkscape to create the SVG files and loading those into my cricut. Nothing as complicated as what you are doing but I will get there :)

I thought svg files wouldn't work on the cricut expression??---
Is there a way to get files from computer to cut/print/etc. on my cricut?

They don't.
These files are for upload to Design Space which is the software used with
the new Cricut Explore machine.
