Have the cricut explore and design space on my laptop when I go to insert image, the image will not be inserted in the top corner of mat to be lined up with the ruler, thus, this makes me have to move the arrows , at bottom of screen, in order for me to see my images properly or I have to move the images to be lined up in the corner to be cut. Does this happens to anyone else? Or am I'm just being lazy and anal and expect the images to be inserted in the corner instead of randomly?

We really can't use the corners for using the ruler.

I normally start at 1"X1" to start using the ruler. PC Takes 1/4" off each of the four sides, so we can never lay something right up to the edges of the mat/screen.

Does this make sense? I just use the 1"X1" and move my images to THAT corner. Then, of course, you add on the inch or so you need at the end to come out to what you actually want.

I.e., if you want something 11"X11", then you would start at 1"X1" and resize your image out to 12"X12" (which will, in effect, be 11"X11" since you have already taken off 1"X1" to begin with. THEN, when you are done sizing, you can move the image up into the corner for cutting.
