I received my cards from the June swap and loved every one. This is the best swap!

Thanks, Barb, for the purse calendar. Very thoughtful and much appreciated.

If I get to finish this week at home I may try to join the August swap. Fall is my favorite season and I would love to do a fall card. I'll let you know for sure just as soon as they give me a definite date for surgery.

I just had a thought on a card, going to go put graphics on a mat so they are there when I actually design my card. Got them, but I can't find a bushel basket for ???.

Hope you all had a great week-end. Hugs Patti

Barb would love to see that purse calendar. Is it 2014, I would love to find 2015 to make my mom a calendar that I made her years ago.

Patti, there is a bushel basket on the Doodlecharms cartridge. Hope that helps.

It is also on Potpourri and Pop Up Neighborhood , Speaking of Fall, Summer Bliss, My Community , and I think on the CTMH Seasonal cart.

I have also seen Jolees stickers with apple baskets

I think you can also buy one image from the CCR with a basket...just a thought Love

Of course, I don't have any of those. If it's CTMH I have miplsced that cartridge because I didn't put it right back. Wonder if I can replace and not the whole set. Or maybe I will find cleaning up this craft mess. Patti

Nice to have you back Kali. I have been meaning to tell you that Technically, your Mom cannot officially be a member of this swap as she has not signed up with a User ID. I just consider it as you are sending in 12 cards ( 2 sets)and you can divide them up as you wish between the 2 of you. I dont care if she makes 6 of them and "helps" you BigGrin .

That goes for anyone else who has a "helper" Love BigGrin

I think I got it now!!! My prototype has 5 different fall papers and a pumpkin die cut!!!! Lots of cutting and assembling but it came out super nice(I think so anyway)BigGrin

Where can you buy square envelopes?

Oooh, I'm intrigued!

I usually make my own envelopes, but I'm not sure I've made 6x6 before. My We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board has dimensions for a 6x6. My scoreboard does as well... it says:

Start with 10x10 paper and score at 3 3/4 on all sides. Haven't tried it yet but worth trying.

I'm not sure I've seen many square envelopes in stores. I do have a few boxes of them that came with blank 6x6 cards that I purchased at AC Moore years ago. Should probably dig those out.

Just got the call from the hospital, I check in tomorrow. Still don't know what day surgery will be. I'll email address and room number whan I know it. I was hoping to do the fall swap, but I don't believe I'll have timeCrying.

I just stayed up all night doing my cricut cuts to take to the hospital. I can be a trouble maker if I don't have something to do.

Anyway, I thought I'd take some cuts for the August card...not promising anything, but must have something to pass the time.

So, of course, I have a question. How many cards do we need to make? Yes, I read the first two posts but I could have sworn that somewhere I read that we would only be doing four cards. Am I crazy or what?

Thanks for putting up with me, BarbLove.

Judy

Dear Judy.... We are all thinking about you and praying for God's healing hands to be with you in this ordeal. Please don't stress over this card swap - just get your strength back. But if it helps you to piece together some Cricut cuts, I certainly understand. When I am bed-ridden I get "stir-crazy" and have to do SOMETHING Flapper LOL too.

Everyone - please note that ENVELOPES are NOT REQUIRED. It only adds extra weight for more postage.ThumbDown You can purchase boxed 5x5 and 6x6 cards at any Michaels or Joanns store and most of them include the envelopes. I also have a supplier that sells me 6x6 envelopes separately if anyone is interested in getting some. But I really think we can all take care of our own envelopes in this swap.
