Anyone have problems with the blade leaving dragging marks on the paper outside of where its supposed to cut? I've had this E for more than 18 months (it has been replaced a few times previous to that while still under warranty) In the past week, I've had problems with the blade leaving drag marks when the blade has moved around to cut the shapes. At first, I thought it was because I was cutting chipboard..but it showed up on cardstock that I cut. The blade depth was at 5 and pressure at high. I've been keeping my blade depth and pressure at a bit lower than usual, and do multi cut (I get a cleaner cut that way) but when I cut with higher settings than that, I get the drag marks.

I did a reset and I'm hoping that will help (Haven't tried it out yet) Is this the beginning of the end? Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?

Thanks for info. I've not had cutting problems in a very, very long time, and I'm hoping its a simple fix! This E-Bug's gotta last me a while longer! BigGrin

I had a similar problem and I found that when I took out the cutting blade I had a small piece of paper that was not letting the blade go back up inside the housing. You will need to take the blade out like you are replacing it mine was up inside. Hope this helps.
