Hi, not new but I am trying to change my Avitar and not having success with it sticking. It shows it in the profile but when I put messages on, it is not.
Thanks!

I had the same problem. What finally worked for me was to change my avatar to the no photo one that looks like the guy's head silhouette and leave it like that for one day. When I logged in the second day, it let me change my avatar to the photo I wanted. I'm not sure why it did that, but it seems to need a day or so to realize that you really do want to change and to get rid of your old photo.

This is what works for me:

Click the Clear Avatar button under your existing avatar.
Find your new avatar and press Update.
Press the Back button
Then at that page refresh your screen. (Press the refresh button on your toolbar or press F5)

I've changed my avatar a few times this week and that always works for me.
