I am relatively new to cricut. I have the personal cutter and am trying to print Pluto and he keeps ripping. I tried 1 inch and that was a disaster and have not gone all the way up to 5 inches and it is still ripping. I had read to try the deep cut blade and that did not work. Any ideas what I should try? Thanks in advance

I am not an expert in no way but I think 1 inch is much to small. I have several of the Disney carts and find that they turn out better when cutting larger like 5 inches or bigger. Another problem may be the machine. I think that the Expression and the Create are the ones that can make the more detailed cuts. I have an Expression and have still had issues with paper tearing etc.

I would suggest making it larger if you can and playing around with the speed (make sure it is set to the slowest) and you can change the pressure to. Hope this helps. good luck!

First off they all cut the same do not feel like you bought the wrong machine. First off make sure your paper is stuck to your mat by braying it or smoothing it on. Then 6 may be too deep and it may be too fast. try slower and not as deep and are you using card stock or paper? this will matter for blade adjustment. I hope this helps
