Hi There,
Here is some info that I copied/pasted from a post by our Card Fairy Leader.
HTH. BigGrin

Hey there all, here is the catch all; all you need/want to know about the Cricut Card Fairies. We are a group of volunteers that take our time and supplies to make cards for almost anyone that needs a pick me up! We started in April 2008 and have already sent over 630 missions as of today. I am so proud of everyone. We have sent to all over the world. Below you will find out how to Become a Cricut Card fairy if you wish, how to request cards, and some answers to the top five most frequently asked questions that I receive. Thanks for reading!

How to become a Cricut Card Fairy:
Hey there ladies and gents!!!

Just wanted to invite any and everyone to join us on this awesome random act of kindness movement that we have created.

We are a great group of crafters from all around the world that send cards to those in need of a smile. We send for special events, as pick me ups, sympathy and just because. We try to do all missions that are sent our way but sometimes we cannot. If you are interested in joining this amazing kind hearted group and spreading some cheer in this world please email to
cricutcardfairyarmy@gmail.com I need the subject to be I WANT TO BE A FAIRY or I WANT TO JOIN, something along those lines. Please include your MB name and the email address that you would like to recieve missions at. Then sit back, wait for mission emails to come and have fun spreading some cheer!

Oh PLEASE add the email to your contacts as the emails go out to over 100 people and sometimes goes to your spam/trash folder. If you dont get missions within a week of signing up to join, PLEASE check your spam/trash/junk folder BEFORE emailing us! Thanks!

I will NOT add you if you send to my PM box or my email. PLEASE EMAIL AT CRICUTCARDFAIRYARMY@gmail.com. Please do NOT email or Pm Lynne either.
Thank you

How to request cards:
Hey there ladies and gents!

I just wanted to post down here how to request the fairies to bless someone that you know!

All you have to do is send an email to cricutcardfairyarmy@gmail.com with your MB name, the reason/situation of why you are requesting, name and address of who you want us to send to and if you can something about that persons likes/dislikes if you know it.

Please try to send requests for special events at least TWO WEEKS before they are to happen.

Lynne (my co commander) and I send out missions on MWF unless its an urgent one where we will send out on Tuesday and Thursday.

Disclaimer: We reserve the right to question any and all requests sent to us. We try our best to do them all but sometimes we cannot so please understand that.

Commonly asked Questions:
I am going to use this thread as a place to post the most commonly asked questions and the various answers. PLEASE post what you wanted to know when you first started out.

1. How do I sign the cards? Many people sign them differently. Personally I sign them Crystal, a Cricut Card Fairy if I "know" the person and my messageboard name if I dont. I also try to mention the person who requested the cards.

2. Do I have to do all the missions? NO! You do NOT have to do them all! Do what you can when you can!

3. How do I let someone know which ones I completed? I put up a mission completed thread weekly with the start and end date. You may post in those threads the missions that you send out.

4. How do I address the cards? Again everyone does it differently. I put CCFA and then my street address as we have had some returned to us and I don't want it floating out there forever.

5. Is there a stamp to put on the back? Unfortunately not anymore. I have ordered personalized stamps online through seller loongchai ( I think that is right) and that seller is wonderful!
