Can anyone offer any insight on the "Group" feature?

Is it meant to give you the ability to resize all items on your mat so they are relative to one another? For example,
I made a pennant in sports mania. I have a shadowed phrase on the pennant. If I want to resize and have everything size up at the same rate, is that what group is for?

Thanks

If you have multiple objects on your mat and you group them they essentially become one object. Everything you do to that group will be applied to all objects in that group.

Grouping isn’t necessary if you just want to resize multiple objects. It just makes it easier as you then don't have to select every object on your mat to resize/move/rotate etc.

For your project, I think grouping everything is a great idea.

The Grouping function is not activated in my project. I don't know what to do to activate it.

Do you have more than one object selected? I think it's greyed out until you do.
