I can't wait to see it!!! I also answed your question on the blog under comments. The only time you do not see the pages underneath is when you preview your page.... sorry I know you didn't want to hear that, but the good news is we have multiple pages to make it easier for layering, and can make them go away if we want to see just what we are designing.

Okay, Sheila, here is my box. I didn't take the time to embellish it. I am sure I will be making more of these. The apple cutout is from A Child's Year. The paper I chose for the lid was not heavyweight, so I made a small square of cardstock and adhered it to the inside center of the lid. I also made a small gift card to coordinate with the box. This little card is too cute! Thanks for the great tutorial!

Thanks! I wanted to get the pic from my blog and use the "image" button, but I could not figure out how to do it. I think the pic would have been bigger. Sheila, I did already post on your blog under the tutorial. Now I need to finish the gypsy challenge card in the next couple days, and I will be all set!

the image button is the fourth button from the u on the post a reply page. just highlight the url (should begin with http://) of the image from your blog and copy. then come here put your cursor where you want the pic in the message box and click on the image button. when the box comes up right click in it and click paste. when you post the image will be in the message.

Sassy:
I followed your tutorial last night, and am planning on cutting it this morning. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I have had my G since May and have been having a ball with it. But, I know there is so much more I can learn and do.

Thanks again,
Melissa

Sheila, I watched the video's on your blog for a second time this morning. I know this is silly, but I was up at 6 am this morning thinking about this box. I just could not sleep because I was so curious to try and make one of these. I actually dreamed about what my box could look like last night...isn't that sad?! Ha ha. So I watched the vids again and am gonna try to see if I can do this. I don't have George & Basic Shapes or TBBM, so I'm gonna see if I can do it with a cart I do have. I hope to have mine posted today.

I put this on your blog, but thought I'd post it here too. I tinkered around a bit and made the top have a scalloped edge on the lip of the box. I also had to kinda of do a little different as I did not have the carts you used. I used Plantin Schoolbook. I had to make my tabs to hold the box together out of rectangles. It seemed to work pretty well. I love the pattern papers, so I didn't embellish too much...a real simple box for me. Thanks for the tutorial! I hope to do this again sometime.
