Imagine waiting 4 days for something new to arrive in the mail!!
I ordered the Cuttlebug Quilled Daisy Kit only because I was searching
for a quilling tool and found this kit online at J's.
It looked like fun and they also included a sample of the dasiy already made.
Has anyone tried this kit yet?

The flowers come out beautiful with this set. If you don't have the longer plates you can put them cross wise (I hope this makes sense) and they will fit, it is just easier with the longer plates.

I love making these flowers and the daisy is my favorite of the 3 sets.

I always use just the 2 B plates and the A plate. I know that some Cuttlebug machines take different sandwiches. Always keepp on hand a cereal box cardbox cover to use as shim...or foe spellbinders-I always have a 12 x 12 fold in three as shim.....good luck!

Can someone possibly tell me what I am doing wrong. I just recently got the rose and the paper didn't cut well and was confused as to how to put it all together. I do have to say I absolutely love the quilling tool - probably better than any of the ones I currently own. Thanks for allowing me to throw my question into the discussion. Hope you all have a great day.

did you use the C plate? your sandwich may not have been right. once you get it cut out, I just looked at the sample in the box. They really do turn out very nice. Good luck

I was a little confused when I first opened the quilled flower sets. I used the usual A B die/paper B sandwich and nothing happened! Then I decided to use A C die/paper B sandwich and it worked like a charm!

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only Cuttlebug die that you must use the C plate.

At first, I used the short plates and with careful placement of the dies, I could use them. However, I found out that using the longer plates worked much better.

I found out that using a thick, mulit-layered paper doesn't work very well with these dies. The paper tends to tear or separate when I begin quilling.

I bought the longer plates but actually prefer using the original ones and placing the die at an angle corner to corner.

Love I love the cuttlebug flower quilling dies and my cuttle bug. I have the daisy and carnation, something fun I used red vellum and red paper cutting out the carnation and mixed it together, it looked cute! I should make another and post a picture of it here. I do wish I could find the longer plate. Every store I have been to around me doesn't stock them Crying I have checked Joann Fabrics, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and even Wal-Mart. It would be much easier and faster I think to use the longer plate.
