I bought the original Cricut when it first came out -- years ago. It has been the most wonderful machine EVER! I've never had a problem with it.

But, sadly Crying my dog pulled it down and it hit the floor hard. It is all banged up, the door won't stay shut, there are a couple chunks of it missing. Oddly enough it still cuts! But, the pressure and speed dials are very hard to turn now. I called Cricut and they said they do not have a repair department and of course it is out of warranty. So, I guess it's time to "bury" the poor little thing. Sigh..........

My question is -- what should I do with it? Can it be recycled? I hate to just toss it in the trash. (It's like parting with a family member!!!).

Any suggestions are very welcome!! TIA!!

As it's still working (apart from the dials) it should work perfectly with Cricut Craft Room.

Other than that - spare parts maybe?

Sorry for your loss! Crying
