I'm having the hardest time remembering how to do anything, or what button to press to get into to change the size, etc. Is there a cheat sheet anywhere that I could print off that I could just keep at my desk to help me out? I loved my old baby bug, and regular expression, and used them ALLLLLLL the time, now I got the E2 (and sold the other ones) and miss them because I have the worst time trying to figure this machine out :( Help?

I so agree with you. I bought it and it just sits there because I find the regular expression so much easier. Of course I also just ignore my gypsy cause I found it hard too...Would love a cheat sheet...Great idea!

If desire, you can use or print the online manual, which is the same as the manual you received with your machine. In addition, you can use or print the May 2012 update release notes. You can also copy and print what you want to make your own cheat sheet.

I just photocopied page 3 from the manual and keep it nearby for a handy reference.

I enlarged it as big as I could and then laminated it. Did the same for my Gypsy. Helps when your eyesight is not quite as acute as it used to be. LOL Diana

I've been teaching E2 classes about a year now and my handout (what I call the REAL instruction Book) is 10 pages long....and I spend about 5 hours with them to really get them used to it so they can go home & create what they want to....If anyone can get all of that info onto 1 page, I congratulate them!!BigGrin
I'm a HUGE Cricut fan Love , but the truth of the matter is that PC cannot write decent instructions!! On the other hand, I guess in a way I shouldn't complain, since I've been earning $ from that for 4 1/2 yearsnow!! hehehe
I'll tell you that my E2 students who've loved the keypad machines, usually don't like the E2 at all because there are so many blinkin' steps to do what we can do with a simple dial change...

I've found some youtube videos that were very helpful as a new user.

I just went to youtube.com and put cricut expression 2 tutorial in the search field. It comes up with a ton of useful videos!
