I want to make something big for my daughter's 13th birthday in a few days.
I JUST got Teen scene. 24 inch just did not seem BIG enough.

So I practiced making this BIG Apple:
What do you think?

The apple is from Doodlecharms and I used my G to make it happen

Your apple looks great! A friend of mine once made a Santa for her classroom door that stood about 5 feet tall. She did it in 4 sections on her E. I turned out great too.

Using Design Studio I did one of the teen dolls for my daughters bedroom door.

Love your apple!

Its cut in pieces and glued together into 1 huge one. I've done it with my gypsy...each 1/2 of the cut on a different page then glue them together.

As you have found, you cannot cut images larger than the mat in CCR. But you can with a Gypsy or Design Studio. Where CCR will not cut any part of an image if the entire image is not within the cutting area, both DS and Gypsy allow you to "hang" images off the mat and they will cut the part of the image that is within the cutting area.

Sure wish that option cut be added to CCR.

I think this is something everyone needs to request PC update for CCR. I have done this in the pasted with both DS and the gypsy and if PC wants us to move more toward CCR then please make it that CCR will allow you to do this.

Now I know I do want the teen scene cartridge. Had used it on a layout for a book when it was the free with CCR and was not sure if I actually need for my collection but never thought about using it to make larger size items.
