Hi everyone. I am hosting a baby shower tomorrow and I am trying to finish party favors. I am in desperate need of help after spending several hours trying to problem solve this issue. I need to cut a continuous zig zag pattern that is 1" x 12". For some reason, I can't figure out how to adjust the length of the cut. No matter what I've done, it keeps cutting a piece no longer than 5". I already adjusted my mat size correctly. I tried the fit to length feature, which will allow a longer cut, however, it automatically adjusts the zig zag height to 2 1/2" and I can't figure out how to change that back to 1". Any quick ideas???

You will need to use Cricut Craft Room or a Gypsy to get a 1x12 (actually 1x11.5") zig zag. You will line them up and then click weld on each piece to make one continuous piece of ric rac/zig zag.

This is going to sound silly, but I can't find a USB port on my Cricut Expression. I'm very new to the Cricut and have only used it a few times to cut vinyl designs. Does the Cricut expression have a USB port? I've never used the Craft Room either, but I just downloaded it.

The USB port is right next to where the power cord plugs into the Expression. In a pinch, you can probably grab the cord from your printer. They're usually the same (unless you have a wireless printer, LOL)

You are a LIFESAVER!!! I would have never thought to use my printer cable, but it worked. THANK YOU! Now, let's see if I can figure out this Craft Room.
