Are you sure that the housing is in the holder correctly?

Ive got the blade on 6...ive switched it around a few times...and I have taken the casing off and put back probably 20 times...Im thinking its not bouncing up and down when its cutting like its supposed too...I dont know cause I dont know how its supposed to work but I watched a video and it seemed like the whole blade casing was moving up and down while cutting...mine does not...Is this fixable??

That would be the next thing to check. Making sure the housing is properly installed. I'be been known to not have mine in the correct notch.Unsure

Also, post your questions in the Imagine forum where Khrista, another very smart Imagine user, will definitely see your question. She might be able to help you better than I can.

Have you got your blade housing loaded correctly? It's easy to not put it in the right groove.

I had one that did that. PC replaced it. The blade and black housing should move up an down. if it does not it is not functioning properly. Mine, if I pressed it down it would cut but with drag lines across everything. If it was up it was go through the motions but not cut. I had to manually moves it for it to work.

That's what mine did too. It would print beautifully but just wouldn't cut. After 3 phone calls to customer service they determined to just replace the machine. It's on it's way to Utah now. Something inside just isn't making the connection. Call PC's customer service. The number is 1-877-727-4288. They'll make sure you've got all the latest updates and then run you through their troublshooting list and after all is said and done they'll send you an RGA with a Fed-Ex label and have you return your machine for a replacement. Be sure you register you machine with them in Cricut.com and include a copy of your receipt with a note of the problem with the return. All they will want you to return is the machine and the cord. You keep everything else, the blade & housing, ink, USB cable, mats, cartridge, EVERYTHING except the machine itself and the power cord. Good Luck.
