Raquel,
THANKS for Hosting this week and for the neat sketches. They both look like fun cards to make!
Wow, a shape card, huh?! This one will really be a challenge (at least for me!)Laugh!

Extra Credit - How cute!! Have never seen a shape card like this before, I love it, right down to the tiny doorknob, and the tree is cute, cute. I always have a hard time with making trees for my cards.

RAQ - Fun sketches, thanks. I love the pocket one. I hope I get to play this week.
Great extra credit, there are a lot of cartridges that have shaped cards, or if not you can always use CCR and weld two shapes together.

Turtlebug - With that new Artiste card you should not have a problem with the shaped card. OR Sophie has a card feature on it also

Dee thanks for the colors, they look like a challenge.

RAQ - So adorable your house card, what cartridge is that house cut from, love all the details.

Yes! Tons and tons of cartridges have already welded shaped cards! That's why I wanted to do this extra credit... make people really look at their cartridges

The house cut is from Wild Card 2 and the "Sweet" is from Sweet Tooth Boxes

DeeSCraps: thanks for the colors! I'll start digging through my papers because I believe I have that particular combo

Shelby sorry I didn't get this posted last week but here is my card for sketch #2. The banner and letters are cut from Art Philosophy These banner cuts already had the holes cut to string the rope through. We rented a vacation home in Maine and it was so wonderful that I am sending this to them to thank them for making our vacation stay feel just like home.

I finished this card but I couldn't find the charger for my camera, so I didn't get a photo done until just now.

I also have comments written down that didn't get posted for last week's cards. I was so impressed with those of you who did the ad colors. I especially thought the megaphone paper was perfect.

Nana Donna...don't you just love Maine? We were there several years ago and just fell in love with the area. Of course, we got there right as it warmed up or I would have been freezing!!!!! It's so different from HOT Florida!

Sue...beautiful card. Love the colors and the elegant word background Stamp.

Turtlebug....I picked those colors just for you!!!!!

Here's my ad color card for last week:

Suevan911:
Very pretty and pretty colors. I really like the cut out heart in the middle as a window as well

*NanaDonna*:
love your card... love all the details

DeeScraps: the combination of papers, textures, and dimensions on last week's Ad color card mixes well together... beautiful card and love love that stack of flowers

My Extra Credit Shape Card:

Bear - Doodlecharms Cartridge
Sentiment - Birthday Cakes Cartridge
I cut two layers of the Bear and glued them at the ears, so it opens from the legs up, The ear centers are the same blue as the tummy, but when I added the Diamond Glaze they got darker, The eyes are brown gems and the nose is cut from red foil cardstock and embossed with "Swiss Dots" CB folder. I embossed the tummy with Darice "Hearts" folder and added a heart Brad. The whole Bear I sprayed with #640 Duo Red/Blue Pearl Mist. Added a blue ribbon to finish him off.
TFL!!

Hi all, Here is my take on your #1 sketch...sort of! I needed a card for an order for a 11 year old and I had bought these papers by Kaisercraft last month. I used PS for the star and its shadow and even put one inside with the verse which says he is a star of a son. I don't know if you can tell but I cut away the right 3/4 inch of the card so you can see the paper on the inside (bike chains). TFL

Sue.

Ladies...hello hello!!!!! I have missed you all soooooo much...feels like I've been gone forever!!! All your cards are so beautiful...I really need to get back to this challenge Im thinkin! Hope everyone is well...you are all as creative as ever...I have not been doing much of anything...we moved a month ago, and will be moving again Mad as we didn't find a house we liked enough to buy before we had to leave our house, so we are currently renting a house. Hubby promised me a big craft room...so Im excited about that, but for now I am not card making all that much...I kept out a limited amount of supplies so I can craft, but its hard not having everything available. I am stil working as well, so we left as much as possible packed up, so the 2nd move won't be as much work Glare Glare Glare ! Anyway...thought I would pop in and say a big HELLO to all my cricut friends and tell you I hope to be back soon...once I have a respectable space to work in!!!LOL LOL

AcrossThePond: love the colors on your card... very clever way of tackling this sketch. What a great card

BingoLady: oh cute cute card... I hardly use my Spongebob cartridge and it's one of the first ones I got! I will certainly have to dust it off

CarolynDeline: it's great to see you again! I'm looking forward to seeing all your creations once you get your gian craft room. I wish you all the luck with all the moving. You had time to make a Christmas card and what a great card it is too! Love the background paper and that tree cut
