I ordered some really pretty chalks and want to start using them. Anyone know how I can prevent it from smearing once it's finished? I also have some info (It's new to me, but maybe not all of you) I used some glitter gel pens and the glitter rubs off, it's really fine, but still not good for soldiers. I sprayed the cards 4 times with a clear sealer, but it still rubs off. I didn't send them to the soldiers for that reason. So just a heads up to those who didn't know this. :)

Lois, I don't have much experience with chalks but I use the glitter gel pens all the time and have not noticed any smearing, if there is its very very little, maybe I have just not noticed it. Maybe some one else might have some ideas on the chalk.

I have used 'Pebbles' chalk and have not had a problem with them smearing. You might try using a dry baby wipe and just dab it over the chalked area. Usually the chalk sets up as if using ink. With the gel pens I put a piece of paper over the area and rub my finger over it to stop any bleeding from the ink.
Hope this helps, Mommanj
