All- can someone point me to install the driver for the cricut imagine? when I connect my cricut and try to sync it is giving me an error stating the driver could not be installed.

I am running on windows 7, not sure if that might be part of the problem...

Hello Joann! I am sorry to hear you are having trouble installing your drivers. There is a download for the Imagine drivers in the Cricut Craft Room program in the help menu. Please try to download the drivers from there. If you are unsuccessful please call customer service. We can help get those drivers installed. The number is 877-7cricut, we are there Monday through Friday 7-6 MST.

I have had the same problem! CS told me to do a restore/reformat & it still did not work! I have uninstalled & reinstalled the CCR & Sync multiple times. Last night I went into the control panel & deleted the drivers also & reinstalled it all again & it worked this time. I sync'd my Imagine & did an update on it & it works perfectly with the CCR. Try that!

Joann,

Go to the windows start icon click on it and pull up the start window, your control panel it should be located on the right hand side. Once you open control panel look under the tab Programs and go to the uninstall programs once all the programs load scroll down to circut craft room click on it and hit the uninstall button and it should pop up a window asking if you if you want to uninstall and click yes when it finishes it should be completely off your computer system. . .

Make sure you don't have a firewall or anti-virus getting in the way. Odd they had you format and restore for drivers, but ok. Usually uninstalling ccr all the way, rebooting your computer, and then installing a fresh copy of CCR will take care of it as long as nothing is interferring with the install.
