I got my G for xmas last year and haven't had time to even take it out of the box due to school and health issues with my children. Well this past couple of weeks I have updated it, and linked all my carts. Now trying to play around with it I am confused. I have no clue what all the option buttons are and no instruction manual. I have never bought anything without a instruction manual. Yes I am probably 1 of the very few that read those things. LOL

SO any tips would be of great help.

You will love her once you get the hang of it!
Each of us I think in same way when our Gypsy arrived thought, HUH???
The Gypsy does not come with a manual because it has so many updates that the features have changed dramatically from last year at this time.
There is a PDF on Cricut Gypsy website but it is not as helpful as what most need.
Thankfully we have many talented ladies who are very Gypsy savvy to help us.
I personally learned a lot from my fellow Gypsy users blogs.
This one is my personal fav
The Bug Bytes
There are also several DVD's out there that help too.
Gypsy A to Z DVD fromm Above Rubies is supposed to be the best.
You can always ask here too!
We all love to help out!
Good Luck!

When I first unpacked mine, I watched the videos on the Information section of cricut.com. They helped a lot. I think the only new symbol on the display is the hide/contour button. If you search youtube for it, you'll find something that tells how to use that one. Don't fret -- you'll get the hang of it in no time; if I did it, anyone can!!!!
