Kelley...can we also use those antique spools that may be a little larger than regular spools? Or is there a size limit? I love those antique spools and I was going to look at some shops around here for some.

No size limit, you can use any spool you would like. Antique spool sounds awesome.

28 Days - Congrats.

Yes - I need to try new things - I have enough stickpins and charms to last anyone a lifetime. BigGrin I have a tendency to make bigger things for swaps and do want to learn some new smaller things to help balance things out.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Kel I would love to join your swap if you are still open. As I understand it we can use almost any item that has a hole or opening in the middle and is cylinder or round. I'll look at all the sites that have been posted so I get it right. Blushing Blushing

I love the look of those large antique wood spools. I would love to get my hands on one... Or two!

Can't wait to start! I love altering spools. I remembered a couple I did for a red, white, and blue swap. I used one as a base for a birdhouse and I altered one to look like firecracker. They were the 3" ones they sell at m's individually. Here's the link that has them. http://littleredshood.bl...t-freedom-ring.html?m=0

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Oh shoot Rebecca...I am getting the real giggles off of this one..... I have to tell you why....

So my body type resembles that of a ball. I am short and round with round stumpy legs. I went to a crop a few years ago with some friends. One friend drove us all to lunch. Another lady came with us and refused to sit in the back. So I needed to climb in back. Ok ----is the visual coming in. So I am trying to get in and I have three ladies pushing my but into this thing. I am falling over trying to grab my way in. Then we hear massive laughter....turn around and two dudes pulled next to the van and was taping in on their phone. I am sure my buttocks is on youtube somewhere.

LOL LOL LOL LOL

Well then let's keep the laughter continuing....

Reindeer's Story at ChristmasAccording to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should have known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
