Well, my Cuttlebug broke. I don't know why or how but it's broken. I've been kicking myself for not buying the Anna Griffin bundle on HSN but I didn't. I've been told by many others that the Big Shot is a much more powerful, durable machine. Can anyone tell me where I can get the very best price on one? My funds are much more limited these days so I need to get the best price possible on any tools I buy. I appreciate any input any of you might have.

BigShot all the way, yes it is very durable and has a much wider base, allowing you to use all type of dies, and folders.
Good luck and let us know.

I'm not sure of a price for a Big Shot as I purchased mine off of the 'Product and Review' section several years ago. I prefer the Big Shot! I sold my Cuttlebug for $60 to a woman in line at my local J's. I have problems with both my arms and find the Big Shot easier to use and a more durable machine.

I know you can shop around, but a site I visit and buy from, way to many times!!, is Paper Wishes.com. Theirs is $99. and you get free shipping. They are a great place to order from.

I was just on Joann's website and they have it listed for $59.99, but that is online only.

I have them both....... the Big Shot is by far the sturdier of the 2 ....... a go-to machine, built to last..... Try Michaels or Joanns with a coupon :-) or hobby lobby...... check their bead dept also........ they have Vintaj model in beads.......

As long as I'm not the only one talking competition here I have to say I love my Vagabond! I do have the green cuttlebug and I just ordered the Anna Griffin gold cuttlebug but I use my Vagabond most of the time....

I was trying to run too thick of a load through my cuttlebug once and there was a lot of pressure on the handle, it slipped and flipped backwards with enough force that it broke my finger! I know that was entirely my fault but hubby felt bad and got the Vagabond for me for Christmas a year ago....

All the way with the Big Shot sometimes if you go to Sizzix web site you can get it much cheaper and the folders are cheap also.

Thanks everyone. It looks like about $60 is about as good as I'm going to get. I really appreciate all your input.

Check out Oh My Crafts. I think they have a special on the New Big Shot. It's blue and is coming out soon . I think they are including some sizzix folders with it too.
I got my Big Shot one Ebay and actually it was from OMC.

I have more than one Cuttlebug, I use for Cuttlebug only. I bought a Big Shot Express (electric) for the big hard stuff- I like it too. Of course even bigger is the Fiskars Fuse out there now. BJR.

walmart.com $59 would be my choice as you can use larger dies too

I have two C-bugs and the Fuse. Love them for different reasons.

Well, I am definitely the odd one out!!! I sold my big shot-HEllO KITTY one because I just go to the cuttlebug, but that is just me. I haven't regretted it but I was at the point of I Refuse to buy dies for another machine when I have so much invested in others already and I know me and my compulsive nature I would want everything so I let it go.

I have both the Cuttlebug and Big Shot. I hardly ever use the Big Shot, i find it difficult to figure out the thickness combos. Maybe I just need to read up on the sandwiches but so easy to reach for my C-Bug
