Christineramey, that motorcycle card was a little hard on the eyes with all that shine, but cool card! Aww, cute dog house card! The soda is a free digi they are giving away this week at My Paper Crafting! I use Copics on anything that I color!

Sorry Sandy that the colors are hard for you! I can relate to some of those things! I have problems with mine too! I'll think about that for the next card! What colors are easy for you? :) Thanks for the link. . .I may have to check that out! :)

Here is my Sketch #1 card in the ad colours. A Child's Year and Elegant Edges were used for the cuts. Embossed vellum paper - a success for the first time as I spritz the card with a bit of water before embossing so it wouldn't crack! Butterfly was store bought but I stamped swirls on it and changed the centre for pearls. I decided to emboss and add a few embellishments to the silhouette for a bit of dimension.

Have a great Sunday!

Christine - I used a soda pop can to cut the flowers - my first time using that type of metal. The shimmering comes from the type of paint called Luminarte Silks.

Gisele....Love your cards. They are always so versatile! Did you find the soda can sharp? Several years ago I cut some labels, but I didn't think they would mail well. I like how everything shines. Love all the embossing you did on your other card. A great take on the week's colors.

British Girl....nice shaped card and a really cute image. Some little girl will love it.

Oops, got to run. I'll be back to finish my comments later.

Here's my card for Sketch #1. I used punches for the flowers, Stickles, and the paper is from a 6x6 paper stack by First Editions called "Family Ties."

Hello everyone! I had a super busy weekend with Ren Fest and furniture shopping... just trying to get ideas, of course

You are all making me hungry with all the treat cards!!!

BingoLady: wonderful job with your Arizona scenery... I looked real good because I thought it had no embossing on this card... but there it was! It wouldn't be you without the embossing BigGrin

Dragonfly50:
congratulations on your blog!

Gisele:
very pretty bird cage card and that flower is beautiful... love the colors here. Gorgeous card with the sihouette and love love the hearts charm at the corner

TurtleBug: yummy ice cream card... love that background paper as well as the buttons

christineramey8b61e521:
the image is a bit blurry but I do like what you did with the foil embossing and the harley image. Very cute puppy card!

Nancy J.: sorry to hear you're still having issues with the internet but I'm glad you are still able to come and say hi and not disappear completely due to it

VickieBryan1: OMG I love those flowers! Beautiful St. Patrick's Day card

britishgirl: LOVE your Precious Moment card. I've thought about using that image before too but I had no special event to make it for at the time

DeeScraps: love the bright Happy Birthday card... very clean

Extra Credit - So cute, bright and playful. Are those buttons for bubbles? Great card!

Those are tiny clear beads I found in the floral section of JoAnns... I guess they're mainly used for floral arrangements you put in clear vases. You can also dye them whatever color you want using Alcohol Inks

Okay here is my take on sketch one, although not all of the colors were used I'm afraid. It just didn't work with the idea of the card. . .sorry. Here's the link here and enjoy: http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag44/Harley19721/donniesbdcard001_zps4f414d8d.jpg

Okay had to share this card because it was one of the throw it together kind of quickly cards. We hadn't intended on going to see my sister on Sunday but now we are, so I had to throw a birthday card together for my 3 year old nephew who had a birthday this week. So this is what I came up with at this link here: http://i1298.photobucket...thday002_zps6b178ed3.jpg

I hope you don't mind I copied your images directly here. Is it me? All your pictures that I've viewed so far has an orange tint. I can't seem to see the real colors Crying

I also added the current name (since that was my suggestion, even though I'm liking another suggestion better... LOL!)

Hi to all,
Well it is a cold Monday over here and as I said I have been busy doing a little scrapbooking last week. Thought I'd share this one which will be my March page. My Hubby took the photo's in Dec when we went out for a walk around the lakes by us.

The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle's Generation Z. I used GS cartridge for the cold cut and spellbinders for the flourishes along with a few pale blue gems.

Thanks for peeking.

The other page I was working on is going in to a competition so can't show till Wednesday.

This card is for my Mum for Mothers Day which is 10th March over here.
The card is 6x8 tent fold in kraft card. The cartridge used was Paper lace and Don Juan.

Sorry it did start out as sketch#1 but moved away as I picked out other things to add.

Interesting to use soda pop cans. I've seen that on Youtube but have not experimented with that yet! May have too, it was pretty nevertheless. :)

there are a lot of nice ideas for the new name coming in... I really would like something with Wednesday in the name...because I have started to jump around to other blog challenges and it is hard to keep in mind which day each of challenges start...

Well while the internet was down (I think I am back up now because it only went down once today for just a few minutes) I made this bunny and wanted to share with you...I am making these for my DGC (3 more to go) it isn't a card so hope you don't mind about that.

#2 - WOW!! Love the flower. Donna showed me this technique way back when I first started making cards, it is so awesome what can be done with it. She also told me that when cutting soda/beer cans and aluminum foil it also sharpens your blade at the same time. The whole card is so pretty. Did you paint the flowers behind the birdcage, too?...love them!

christine
#1 - Great card for your DB, perfect colors for a guy card. Like the tag cut and your foil background. He will love it, too!
Very cute Noah card, doggie and house are great to use on a boy card. Like the name plate with the "wire". Nice job with the Copics and Gel Pens. Your DN will enjoy it!

VickieBryan
Pretty St. Pat's card, great BG paper and very creative to make the "Lucky Charm" horseshoe out of flowers. You have been doing a very nice job with your rolled flowers, they are very pretty.
Nice touch with the small buttons.

Gisele
#1 - So pretty! Love the silhouette of the little girl with the bow on her braid, the swirly frame and the double hearts.

britishgirl
Shape Card - Pretty and sweet PM image, love the soft colors, did you color it?

DeeScraps
#1 - Love the bright colorful colors and the way the flowers match the pretty BG paper, Love flowers, so will have to look for that paper stack!

AcrossThePond
Layout - Gee and I thought it was cold here!! Very pretty pics, like the way you laid it out...memories forever!
Mum card - Love the lace, hearts and the celicate circle cut. The Don Juan cart cuts so THIN when I use it, which key and size did you use on here? Some of the Ladies have mentioned using the shadow cut when we can't something that is too small...will have to try it.

Happy Monday to you all!

I see more awesome creations posted!

AcrossThePond:
beautiful layout. Love the colors and the embellishments. Wonderful "mum" card... there's so much going on here and love them all

Nancy J.: I love it when people share their creations other than cards... so what that we're in the card section BigGrin. Your bunny is so cute and what a great idea for treats!

BingoLady: very nice card... great job with the matting. Very clean and crisp

Well, I know that most of my cards have orange in them, so maybe that is why?

I think it's your lighting. I can see your cards were photographed in front of your Cricut and even your Cricut is orange. When I first started here... my pictures were all coming out similar to yours. Someone told me to mess around with different lighting settings and I tried a LOT! Outdoors worked well for a long time then rainy season started... hah hah! Anyway, I can see all the details on your cards so that's good
