Like everyone else, I'm always on the lookout for a better storage idea. Well, my husband and I went to a gun show yesterday and I found these great little boxes that are designed to hold re-loaded bullets. I picked up 2 of the largest ones they had for only 3.50 each. They are perfect for holding and transporting mini misters because They are a super tough plastic and the top will come down over them nice and tight and help prevent any leaks. They can also be used for Copics (or any other marker) but they are a little too long for the lid to cover them.

I'll try to post a pic soon. I seem to have a lot of trouble doing that. Plus, I haven't been staying home much lately. I've been staying with my in-laws helping MIL while she recovers from a broken ankle.

Can you please share a photo? I just told my husband I need his re-loaded Bullet holders and he laughed at me and said that I was really going off the deep end, if I wanted it for my crafting. I want to show him your idea, so he will share with me Laugh Laugh

Of course, I could just go in the Gun Safe and sneak some out Laugh LOL Laugh I don;t think he would notice, do you?LOL Laugh

I bet he would AND now he'd know where to look for them, too.
Wonder if they carry them at Harbor Feights. I think it the name of that store.
I should stop by and see...

I found this Artbin storage for markers and I love it. I bought an extra tray and it holds the markers great.

I got it here

Here are the pics of the ammo boxes. The smaller one shows how it can be used for both the mini misters and for the marker storage. I even put in one of the fat sharpie markers to give you a better idea of size. (my Copics weren't handy at the time but they fit too.) The larger box has a hinged lid so it is not adjustable for height, but it makes a great storage box for my Smooches. I'm sure I'll find other things to go in it too. I hope this helps some of you. These boxes are really inexpensive and are great alternatives to some of the design-specific storage boxes.

Calmom, If your hubbs is ANYTHING like mine, he knows exactly what is in his inventory AND where and how it is placed. I just try to go with him as much as possible when he goes to these shows so I can pick up anything I think I might use. I like these containers like this because I am very much a "traveling crafter". I love to go to crops and retreats and workshops so I need portable storage.

Thank you Lisa---

I think I'll see if I can find some of the adjustable ones for my misters.

Thanks for the pics now to find a store to get some at.

He sure does Laugh LOL Laugh My DH and I agree to disagree when it comes hunting. However, he is a very responsible gun owner and has all gazillion of his hunting guns (not really, it just seems like Laugh LOL ), ammunition, cleaning, accessories in a huge Gun safe. Hum, come to think of it, it would make a great storage for my overflow of crafting supplies Laugh LOL

He showed me what you are talking about but his a metal and not very attractive. My DH told me to go to BIG 5 Sports Store and I could get the plastic ones BigGrin

Yes, only the big gun/sporting goods stores carry these. They're usually the only ones that carry an extensive line of reloading supplies. You might have better luck finding the size & style you need if you look online.

BTW, I've thought about getting a small gun safe to put all my memory card, discs, etc. in for safe, fire proof storage.
