Everyone is welcome to join in, the more the merrier! Believe me once you start playing along you will be hooked on this challenge.
Use the sketches for inspiration to create cards, just have fun & come back and share your creations here on this thread. Make one or all three it doesn't matter just have fun and be creative.
We also have Ad Colors to help get your juices flowing they are optional but help if you have a hard time picking out your papers.

Sketch #1

Sketch #2

Sketch #3

EXTRA CREDIT - for some additional inspiration create one card with white on white with a splash of one color (if you want to ad a color). I think white on white is one of my favorite looks but sometimes it is hard to pull off, I am anxious to see what you come up with.

Additional EXTRA CREDIT - Use something that you just "HAD TO HAVE" and then have never used or have not used for a long time, come on you all know you have somethingWink
Here are the Ad Colors for this week provided by Dee

Look forward to seeing all the creations, I will post my samples tomorrow, I did not get a chance to take pictures yet.

Thanks for Hosting this week and for the nice sketches. You mean we can only pick ONE item we "just had to have"? I must have a drawer full of those items!!Laugh. Have never made a white-on-white card before, but will give it my best try.

Dee,
Thanks for the yummy Ad Colors for this week...you sure know how to make a girl hungry!

Donna - Thanks for hosting this week! Great sketches and great idea for the extra credit. I've never made a white on white card before so will give it a try. I might have a one item that was a "must have" that is now in the bottom of a drawer BigGrin

Dee - thanks again for the ad colours! I still need to finish off a few Easter items so this will work well!

Have a great day everyone!

Well I finally got my pictures taken and uploaded.

Sketch #2
White on white
I used several different embossing folders to give it some dimension.
Flower cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge. ****OOOPS flower was cut from Artiste****Blushing
The pink strip is Washi tape that I "had to have" and have had for close to a year
and never used.
I stamped it with just simply "celebrate" so it could be used for several occasions.

Nana Donna....thanks for the great sketches.....and I LOVE white on white cards. Gee, what "HAVE TO HAVE" should I choose from? LOL. Your white and pink card is beautiful. I like how you used "Celebrate!" for the sentiment. That's a good idea. Lots of nice embossing too. Your #3 is one of my favorite color combos. The sentiment is really cute and I love the trim you used on the bottom.

Thanks for the nice comments on the card I made for my granddaughter. It's a Mo Manning image. Someone asked if she had curls....she sure does.

Donna, Thanks so very much for hosting this week... and you sure do want to challenge me this week.... I have never done white on white but I think it is so elegant and have been wanting to do one...Your white on white with splash of color is AWESOME... love it!!! Your sketch 3 is very cute and the play on words is so neat... and that you did sew on your card something else I need to try some day. GREAT JOB!!! As for using something I had to have..oh lets see 10 or 20 items at least sure there are more!!! but I think I don't use them so much because they are not in my sight... hidden in a cabinet.

Dee, Thanks for ad colors this week... great that combo and I just brought some paper this morning that have the ad colors. Woo Hoo!!! What a VERY CUTE granddaughter you have and love those curls!!!I so miss my grandchildren being that young.

#2 White-on-White - Beautiful!! Love all the embossing and the simple flower with the button. Washi tape looks very nice with the other pink accents.
#3 - Like the colorful BG paper and the fringe ribbon, sewing looks nice and like how you added the vellum layer to the dress form. Very nice!
#1 - For some reason I want to eat this cardLove ...it looks like candy and the colors and buttons remind me of fruit flavors. So bright and colorful. Like the candle Brad

DeeScraps
Your DGD is so very cute, love the curls and the big brown eyes! Are you sure she didn’t pose for you when you made her Ballerina B’day card??Wink

#2 – Love this card! Great colors, embossing, pretty BG paper. Like all the layering of the flower, very nice.
#3 White-on-white – Very pretty and elegant! Love the Wedding dress, embossing and the nice splash of color you picked, very crisp and clean look.

WELCOME BACK, you have certainly been missed!
#1 – Cute Easter card, like the Bunny cuts and the cute chick-a-dee. Which cart did you use for the grass border? I always have a hard time cutting grass neatly for my cards.

Busy week-end coming on, so I'm on a mission to finish my sketches. My DGS has finished Soccer for the season so...it's on to Little League baseball now...and it's back to the parks again!

My Sketch Card #2 in the AD Colors:
Embossing - Cuttlebug "Baby's Breath" folder
Scalloped Oval - Spellbinder
Sentiment - Computer-generated
BG Paper - Michael's Single Sheet rack
The orange border is glittered cardstock (some of the glitter is barely noticable). I added raindrop dimensionals by Jolee's By You and yellow satin ribbon.

Here is my extra credit challenge.
It is the last of 5 wedding cards I have had to do this month. It is for me to give a young girl I work with who gets married 6 April. I found out her colours for the day are lavender so included those as the splash on this card.

The card is a 6x6 and I have used swirls and swiss dots folders. The stamp was a freebe in a magazine, in fact it was a sheet of 20 some smaller than this, I think the happy Easter was one off it.

Sue.
