Huh This is a first for me. I was making a buttefly (trying to get the hang of this) and when it was cutting one shape it was fine and then it didn't cut all the way.

the shadow cut was cut just fine. As I removed my cuts the shadow was fine but the first cut the one i'm gonna put on the shadow cut.. It didn't come out right. Like the head wasn't cut right.

then i took the paper off to try again and as the circut started to cut it just tore the paper entirely?

any thoughts?

Sometimes intricate detail cuts are a bit hard. Try different paper, or a new mat on even a new blade.
