The mini cuts pretty good. It is not a stand alone machine. Meaning you must use Cricut Craft Room to use it. Suggest you go the the Craft Room forum and figure out the pros and cons of it.

I love the mini. I have a E2 that I got first. I use that for the big jobs - banners, boxes, etc. But day in and day out I use the mini. I like it so much that I had one shipped to my daughter's house so that when I'm there taking care of my granddaughter I have a machine to cut with. Some people don't like CCR but I love it and have no problems with it. Connection to the Mini was very easy.

I love my mini too there's loads you can do with it and CCR is easy to use once you get used to it However the con's are that the cartridges are expensive, that goes across the range of machines. I usually buy digital cartridges, but again they can work out expensive. Also you can't import images from microsoft clipart or anything like that so sometimes that gets a little frustrating because 9 times out of 10 you don't have an image in CCR that you need. Anyway above all I do love the machine. Hope it helps and you enjoy it when you get it.BigGrin

Glad you asked about the Mini, I have been wondering about those. What does CCR stand for?
