I received my cricut mini on Thursday and have been trying load Craft Room, it just sits on initializing craft room, been trying since I got the machine.

It looks like they are having trouble with there server.

I just opened my CCR with no issues at all....maybe its just the connection....hope it works for you.

Getting stuck at the initialising screen is generally caused by your anti-virus program blocking CCR and/or Windows 8 blocking it.

Which anti-virus program are you using? If it's that that's causing the problem you just need to add Cricut-CraftRoom.exe and CCRBridge.exe as exceptions/exclusions to your program.

If it's Windows 8 that is the problem then you need to close CCR, right click on the CCR icon on your desktop, select Properties then Compatibility. Then make the following changes:
