jean ilove your tray you made cob. It is absolutely wonderful. KSQueensBee if I was an evil genius I would try to figure out how to intercept the tray you are receiving...it was truly amazing.

Now more kudos on the one I received, I was really not feeling well yesterday so I apologize for not saying more at the time. I love to see different techniques used...it makes me happy. Look at the cover closely and you can see so man put together flawlessly. I think my favorite was in the upper right corner....the owl stamp in layers of utee/or embossing powder or enamel. Ireally love that technique and to put it on the box was really cool.

Onthe inside love how she used crackle paint/medium as a border around the inside cover. It is really cool up close. On the box side, I love how it has a finished look of using the tissue tape to flawlessly seam all the boxes together. Next all the little details in each of the boxes. I love how she used ribbon to go in and out of boxes.I love all the owls. Where on earth did you find that penny farthing? I LOVE IT!!!!!! there are just so many unique details to me....and i sincerely appreciate it.

The steampunk owl card andlittle owl were wonderful as well. Thanks, K

Hope you get feeling better Kelley and thanks for all the compliments!

Have to give thanks to Jean for finding a project with great techniques on it including stamping in warm UTEE. I've seen it before on other blogs a long time ago, but would never have thought of doing it had it not been for Jean finding the tutorial.

I've been noticing on so many blogs lately that using stencils is all the rage right now on mixed media projects or canvases...so your cover was the start of me getting a feel for it. Though I used EP, not molding paste. Stencils are cheap, so it's an affordable technique to learn! lol

As for the penny farthing.... not sure....But I sure wish I would have bought more then just one now! lol But I just chuckled every time you posted about penny farthings! And knowing you have the perfect surprise for your partner is what makes these swaps so much fun!

I am feeling better today. Took a 5 hr nap this afternoon. Have to go back in to work tomorrow.

Stencils are cheap. Even cheaper....You can make your own stencils and masks with you cricut or your dies.

Very excited about getting Teresa Collins, stencil, embossing and stamp maker this week.

Going to try to quit playing around with Robins tray and start gluing. Having a problem committing for some reason. I think it is because I designed more scenarios than there are compartments, and having trouble eliminating, cause I really like them all. Guess I will just have to make Robin 2 trays so I can use everything.LOL

KSqueensb -- I just want to thank you so much for making my day today. I received your package and I was absolutely thrilled. It was BEAUTIFUL. I just keep looking at it over and over just to admire your work and how proud I am to have this piece in my living room. I was going to put in my craft room but it looks perfect with my living room décor that I just had to show it off there. Thank you again for all your hard work. I do appreciate it. Here are the pics. Oh gosh, I hope these come out right. Here it goes: (I am not so good at the pic upload on this site for some reason)

Thanks Terri. Evelyns box is the one I made and on the inside is a section with sewing. I was wanting a mini sewing machine to put in the section. I had a charm with one on it so I would up using it instead. I had a terrible time finding anything that was small enough to
put in the box other than charms so I made several items so they would fit.

The one in your box is a button.. If you check out the buttons at m's or j's they have some really fun and different ones. I just cut the shanks off the backs and use them. I use a lot of them at Christmas time for my dominoes for my craft shows.

Evelyn, I will help you with pics of the inside. They aren't very good as I took them in my car right before I mailed it.

I noticed in the pics some of the items on the left side aren't where they are supposed to be. I fixed it before it was mailed so hopefully they made it in the right place. BigGrin

Terri, I am trying to finish up your box. I hope to finish it this weekend. This is my last swap to complete for now. ( My dining room looks like HL and Ms blew up in it. I have to get it cleaned up when I finish this swap, haha.)

Ladies, I love all the different takes on the config box!!! You all are so talented!!!! I want them all!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
