The butterflies are made out of feathers. Says made in China on the back!!!!
Both the girl and the wishbones creeped me out but I did end up using the girl in my book.
Hope to send a link to pics when I finish.

I LOVED the lamp and the watch so I had to get themBigGrin.

I love the butterfly. I want more! BigGrin Yeah, the girl creeps me out, too. The missing limbs are disturbing... Don't know,m maybe if she looked more like Venus de Milo, it wouldn't be so bad?Confused The wishbone doesn't bother me but it is also nothing I want... just weird.

Tags were made by Tim I think. There were flags that were made by the participants for display during the workshops. Some were pretty neat!!!!

I NEED the pocket watch die for something I want to make for my daughter; I didn't know it was available yet. Which retailers carry it?

I got it on simonsaysstamp.com. Only bummer is you have to buy 2 dies if you want to layer. The die is one and then the circle inserts is another. If you want me to cut a few out of chip for you, I can.

Jean, Cindy and Lori...I'm so jealous. I'm like PlanLady, I would definitely drive or fly to see Tim Holtz. I wanted to do his cruise one year and by the time DH and I decided to go, it had sold out...in less than 7 days!!!!

I was with him in spirit yesterday though...Joann's had all embellishments 40% off...I too spent under $100.Blushing Blink LOL LOL LOL I did convince Joann's to coupon match my 40% coupon from Michael's for the view finder die...told them Michael's didn't have a restriction on dies like their coupon does.BigGrin

I've been trying to figure out where to share this (now that I can) and it looks like most of my MB friends are in this thread and we have to keep the conversation going until mid July so...

(Debbie you're the only one who knew, don't you feel special now LOL )

Right before my soldier girl left for Afghanistan, SHE GOT ENGAGED!! They're in the same unit but stationed in different places so they won't see each other for the next year but apparently he didn't want to wait. He had a ring and actually got down on one knee and proposed like a gentleman. This pic is from the MP Ball Jan of this yr., prior to the proposal, but it's a nice one of the two of them.

I had DH cut the girl in half for me because I was only going to use the head part. Not sure why but I put her legs in the box below her head.BigGrin BigGrin

I need to go up in the attic and look thru all the old toys, etc, up there. I must have stuff that can be used for this type of project!!!!!! Forget what you call those picture discs but my kids had them when they ere younger. I still have lots of their stuff up in the attic. I know we have erector set parts that were my hubby's!!!!!
Sounds like it is time to do a major overhaul of my attic. Might find lots of goodies up thereBigGrin

Wonder if anyone needs/wants my old bowling trophys from high school.OhMyGod OhMyGod OhMyGod They are at least 40 years old.LOL LOL

If you have not done so, please provide the person creating for you with your address, and at least one means of alternate contact info (email, facebook, phone number, etc.). The person you are creating for, you should provide the alternate contact info just incase you cannot be reached on the board.

Get to know your partners so you can create something personal and fun that they will enjoy.

I did this in another swap before...I think I will do it in this one. You have until May 10th to really get know your partner...check their mq's, ask them questions, read posts....

I will have a contest about who know's their partner the best. I will have 10 questions. You will answer the questions about your partner. Your partner will review the answers and pm me how many you have right. If there is a tie, I will either do a tie breaker question or do a random drawing. I will make sure it is an awesome prize box too. Something you won't want to miss out on.BigGrin

Reminder: How well do you know the person you are creating for?

You will answer questions about the person you are creating for not the one that is creating for you (exception candy and sunflowerskye)

No hints as to what the prize will be, other than it will definitely be worth playing for.

When it comes time to play, it will be done on the honor system. Please do not look up the answers, they should be things you should know. This will be fun. Happy chatting with your partners.

Question:

Years ago I won an auction on Ebay for a Cricut Replacement Blade Lot so I haven't bought blades in a VERY long time. Running low now so I went back to look for more and I'm seeing "cricut green" packaging. The ones I had had the red rubber tips, are these green the same or for a different Cricut machine?

Yes, they're the same. The blue tip is for deep cut blade housing and the purple tip is for the score housing. HTH.BigGrin

I saw that too - Fell in love with it completely. If we get a group of people together that get the die I would love to do an altered pocket watch swap.

Sharon - would the Studio 490 Art Parts chipboard pocket watches I sent you in a prize pack a while back work for your project?
