Can I use my cricut expression to cut stuff like the cricut cake stuff? I've been wanting to design cakes but I do not want to have to buy a whole new machine? HELP PLEASE

The expression is not food safe and the blades and mats are different. The cake machines are really cheap if you can find one. Check ebay.

A few Big Lots still have some Cricut machines and think cricutmachine.com might too. If you do cakes, you will appeciate the way the cake machine was made being food safe and easy to clean. You would want to have to try to clean fondant out of your E but the cake is made for it. Nice machine and that website has supplies too still I think. Good luck. BJR.
Checked they still have a cake mini for $99 there but supplies are a good deal.
