Here are some cards I have made recently. I have not posted anything for a while, so I thought I would do some catching up and share. This is a little pic heavy, sorry for that.

This first card is one I made for a friend's grandparents. They had lost one of their very young fur babies to an unexpected illness. The MEMORIES piece is a metal embellishment. For the corner piece, I used the Darice Butterfly Migration embossing folder, with some Studio G glitter glue for the bodies of the butterflies and some wing accents. The cat's wings are actually a Cricut butterfly cut I received in a swap. I cannot remember what cart it is from, sorry.

This cherry card I made as a Thank You for my BIL for making me a cherry cheesecake to cheer me up. I decided to write the " Thank you CHERRY much!" sentiment on the Cricut cut (from Preserves) with my black Sharpie. The four little cherries are embellishments from Jolee's boutique. The patterned paper is from the Recollection's Garden Harvest paper stack. I used a Fiskars' gear punch to do the corners of the paper layers. The Cricut cherries are shiny thanks to Glossy Accents....great product! Love how this one turned out!

This final card is for my Mom for her birthday. The pics are not that great...blurry for some reason, but turned out much better in person. I stamped the sentiment in brown Momento ink on the piece of pink ribbon, after having stamped some leaves in white. It turned out really nice, but the pic just does not reflect that. I also made the butterfly from beads, pink wire, and a layer of flower petals. I also tried to show the dimension I used with the side photo. I made the fence from three layers of the same cut, then popped it up with fun foam. The paper (which I LOVE) is from a Momenta paper pack I got at Big Lots...48 double sided sheets for $7. The paper is so pretty I had not been able to bring myself to use it yet...lol! I know my Mom will love it though. I also sent her a shadow box with some spring and summer memories of us gardening when I was growing up. I used the paper in the shadow box as well. I will have to post pics of it once she sees it.

Hope you like these! I appreciate any comments, constructive criticisms, or just plain congrats for sharing. Blessings, GG.

Very pretty. Nice to acknowledge that the death of a pet is a loss.
