I do want some of those teddy bear paperdolls! Punk rocker works for me!

Partners are posted.

If any issues, please let me know ASAP. I'll be away at a BB game for a few hours though.

You can exchange addresses with each other but I also will make up my list and see who I am missing addresses or alternatives for.

And now that you know your partners, you may want to go back and edit your answers, make adjustments cuz you might know what they esp. like to create cuz they've been swapping for so long amongst us and you want them to make that special item for you too!

Lots and lots of time before end of July nears, but just remember to check in once every 2 weeks and make it easier on me and on your partner too!

And a note to the newer swappers here: do not be intimidated and don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for some suggestions for some of the directives. We are here to help you learn the ropes and give you hands on view of items so you can improve with each swap you join down the road.

Time to have some fun!!!

and this is why I can't bring myself to slack off on swaps even though summer is nearing -- cuz there are just still too many I haven't partnered with yet! Weird how that happens...you'd think by now I would have swapped with everyone three times over! lol

Not a problem ~ I'm not normally into "cute" but I am having a blast with this TBOP cart. Today I've been cutting pieces from various bears to make military uniforms for my CFS. I got the "Beary Sweet" stamp set from http://www.cardztvstamps.blogspot.com/ which has lots of different sentiments using the word bear (beary sweet, bear-able, bear with me, etc;). I can use accessories from Stand & Salute with my "military bears" and the sentiment "sending you big bear hugs" and they'd be awesome to send to the troops to send home to their little ones. Love

For the record Kel, they're not anywhere near as creepy as those Tildas! Why do Tildas have no mouth???

If I don't have answer I can always make one up! I try to check the message board at least once a day.. depends on my connection and if the board wants to kick me off ( it happens from time to time) If you like we can exchange our information through PM Smile

Just a little hint - if you archive the pm you receive with the address....it won't get lost when you clear out your entire inbox. It is also easier to find that way. (Learned that lesson the hard way a few timesBlushing ).

Hi Cheryl
We're partners this time, I can't wait to get to know you a bit so that I can make something special for you. Looking at your answers it seems we both like the same themes, that should make things easy.

A little about myself: I'm have been married to my bestfriend for 28 years, we have three children (Brian 24, Gina 22, and Derek 17), one dog, two cats, and 18 fish. I love the outdoors, photography, gardening, sewing, and crafting in general. My profession is a grower/propagator. I work for a wholesale perennial grower in CT.

The more correspondence the better for me, I think it makes for a better swap.

Hey - just wanted to mention this thought as some might have not looked at it same way as me....

For the Christmas in July directive: that doesn't necessarily have to be a xmas project at all! I think of it instead as a directive that works perfectly for a "buy" item. As in you are getting a gift that you've been wishing for just like how you wish for special xmas gifts on xmas day.

You could always wrap it in xmas paper or xmas gift bag, etc. but that's not even necessary.

Thinking outside the box is allowed in these swaps!

Not that it has anything to do with this swap but here are a couple of the cards I made this month for CFS using Teddy Bears On Parade and the Beary Sweet stamp set. I don't think they're creepy at all Kel... LOL

I just ordered this stamp set from SSS because I just love that Bee Bear but needed a cornier saying to go with it... http://www.simonsaysstam...-sss101309-banner/Detail

Oh Kelley,

I'm having a blast buying things I would never have thought to buy before.BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin I'm usually paper crafter and I was a little worried (actually a lot) to think I might have to do things like altering that I've never done before and that it would not look right. I have a million things swimming in my head right now and how I can do some projects for you, doesn't mean they will come out that great, but I will try.

I love the fact that I'm trying something new (out of my comfort zone) in the crafting world, Love Love Love to challenge myself and this is a great opportunity to that. Hope it all turns out okay. I might have a question or two about techniques, although I will be doing some research. Now back to my baby shower projects I have to get done, still have lots to do!!!!

Smile Maria

That's the spirit, Maria!

There are several of us here in this group that can give you good feedback on any projects you start for Kelley. We're here to help. And I'm so excited to hear you be excited to go outside your comfort zone! You will not be disappointed in yourself but will continue to rise to the occasion and learn all the more. Just pace yourself and pace your budget too cuz you can spend a lot of money on supplies in a hurry! lol Trust me, I know!

I am sure I will love anything you make. Be careful though....altering can be addicting. LOL I truly love it. I became glued to you tube tutorials. If you have questions, you can ask us all or you can ask me too. You can also make me what you are good at even if it isn't on my list. it is great to see each other's areas that they are good at.
