I cut out a card I created and a foreign cut showed up. I cannot see this cut on the gypsy screen. Anyone have any ideas?

The letters are from Lyrical Letters, The rectangles are from Fontopia Crests & Cards and the flame is from 3 Birds Straight from the Nest.

I've cut this card twice and the foreign cut is always there. Any way, I'm still working on the card (flame higher and over and other stuff) and will just dump it if I can't get rid of that cut.

Mary

If I get something bizarre like that (and I have before) and I can't ignore it, I just start over with a new project. Sometimes I believe there are little goblins living in my G. There are certain fonts, when welded together, that don't even look like real letters when they are cut, even though they look fine on the screen. Sorry I don't have any great words of wisdom or easy fixes. It's a great device, but does have it's quirks. LOL I assume you've already zoomed the screen to the max to be SURE there is no object there? Just figured I'd ask. Laugh

I agree with Coah'sNana, I delete or don't save that project and start over. I have to sometimes, turned of my Gypsy and close CCR program before i start again.

Once I was cutting an alphabet and a dog image showed up LOL Laugh LOL

Hope this works for you, it does for me

This happens to me quite frequently, too. I have narrowed it down to 1-using multiple Cartridges in one mat (3+) or 2- making multiple mats in one project (5+)
I do what has been suggested, I delete it and start over. HTH.

Thanks everyone. I was beginning to think my eyes were too old for the gypsy screen.

I had to snort and laugh at the dog showing up!

Thanks again.
