I use mine when I am feeling up to making something. I can go months without touching my crafting stuff and my Cricut. I really wish I could make something every other day. Mellow

I can go weeks before even going into my scraproom. Then there are times when I am in there every day for weeks.

Well considering that I couldn't really get into my craft room, I didn't use my craft stuff nearly enough. That will soon change though and I'll have to make up for lost time!!!BigGrin

Not near enough as I would like to. Only use when go to crops like 3 or 4 times a year and for making any special occasion cards for close family members.

I would love to scrap more, but I don't seem to. My dream would be to do a page a day, but life is just too busy.

I do usually knit almost every day, though. I can take it with me in the car when DH and I go someplace, or knit in the evenings when we are watching TV.

I usually do just about everything (including scrapbooking) in 3 month spells, mainly because I run into some kind of snag with the current activity, so I switch to another activity while I'm waiting for the previous one to get resolved. But, since last September I've been able to scrap pretty consistantly. One of the things that has helped me has been organization. I have a storyboard for my current scrapbook project that I use to keep track of what pages I want to create. Another thing that's helped me is having a nice selection of craft supplies on hand so that I can create things from my stash. I'm making much more progress, now. For the last two months or so I've scrapbooked every week (practically every day), mainly because I have so many cards to get out. And there always seems to be another card to make when I'm done. I just finished a sympathy card yesterday and right now I'm working on two graduation cards and a mother's day card that need to be mailed by next Monday, followed by another grad card I need to finish by May 18, then a father's day card by mid June, then a birthday card for my mom in July, and on and on and on. Somewhere in there I try to work on my scrapbook. So, it's kind of hectic for me right now, but it's nice that I'm actually getting projects done.

Sorry for being so long-winded.

Daily....I would curl up and die if I had to wait a week to craft. I do anything, anything to make, I make cards when between projects. I make Christmas presents now. Now that said, I do pace myself. Doing a layout a day puts pressure on me. I just layout afew pictures and work on them. I work for about (no set time) 15 to 30 minutes at a time. I find walking away and coming back an hour later that I get a better prospective.

Probably every couple a weeks, sometimes more. I mainly make cards and I'll make them as the occasion comes up. Last weekend I had to make 2 cards. I'm much better than I used to be. In the beginning, it was probably every few months.

Lately I have been crafting daily. Since this is national scrapbook month I am doing the LOAD challenge, "layout a day" this month. So today is day 2 and I am caught up to date. Hopefully I can keep this pace up!

I've already made my mother's day cards and teacher appreciation gifts so hopefully nothing gets in between me and my layouts!!! I love my cricut and my craftroom!

I treated myself with the 5 since I could afford all 5 with my left over cash from vacation since I controlled myself in Hobby Lobby, we don't have one near by so I only get to go when I go visit family. At least that's my story I'm sticking to. haha!! they were all $10 carts so it really wasn't too damaging on the wallet.

isn't that what this board is about to make us feel better about our own addictions because we know someone on this board spent more on the same sale? lol BigGrin

Great topic. I had an operation in late August, 2012 and had no desire to craft until March, 2013. I only create (attempt to anyway) cards. I wouldn't even do Christmas cards last year.

In March my sister bought a new cartridge hoping I'd get going again. And it worked, I was bitten by the bug (that is, the Cricut bug) again. I've been creating cards like crazy and plan to give them away as Christmas gifts. I love, love, love, the CTMH Artiste cartridge, the simple card cartridge & my two go-to carts 'wild card' and 'Wall Decor & More' carts. Sorry for the long post.

Best, Mary R.

I have multiple craft hobbies so it just depends...at least once or twice a week...sometimes less, sometimes more. I tend to be project oriented, so what I work on largely depends on the type of project. My next two projects will be fairly large. I have already started the preliminary cutting for invites for a b-day party in July...then next will be decorations. After that I have burp clothes, a baby blanket, and bibs to work on that I want done when the in-laws come in July to take back with them for the newest arrival. I also have squares to cut out for a quilt project and I have several cards to make for graduation, a thank you for one of my husband's team doctors who is moving to a different department, and of course my daughter's b-d coming up in a couple of weeks. I find if I work in terms of projects I get more accomplished as opposed to just crafting because, where I won't get much done.

I'm almost finished my re-org!!! So far I've found the Tim Holtz distress inks I bought last October that immediately went MIA. I found my pink craft knife, my corrugator thingie, seven chipboard 5 page albums, favorite white gel pen, Tweezer Bee tweezers as well as the Making Memories tweezers, my tagger thing from Around the Block...and the list goes on. Seriously, how sad is it that I have so much stuff that I can't keep track of it? Well, never again!! This time I'm labeling drawers and boxes!! I'll use my craft stuff more because I won't have to spend 30 minutes looking for something that I know I have... I just can't find it.Blushing
